Meghan Markle ‘checked up on’ former BFF Jessica Mulroney after she was left ‘suicidal’ during racism row, sources claim
MEGHAN Markle’s former best friend Jessica Mulroney said the duchess “checked up” on her daily after she was left “suicidal” during her racism row.
Earlier this year, mum-of-three Jessica was accused of abusing her "wealth and privilege" by influencer Sasha Exeter to attempt to shut her up in the midst of the Black Lives Matter movement.

, in which the mum-of-three appeared to threaten Sasha with legal action in a private message after publicly apologising, also reportedly left the Duchess of Sussex “mortified.”
A source claimed to that Jessica battled “severe depression and suicidal thoughts”, after the incident, which saw her lose her job on along with a number of fashion deals.
They alleged: “Jess couldn’t talk without crying. She could barely respond to a text message.”
Despite rumours that Meghan and Jessica’s friendship is “not what it once was”, Jessica said that she is “constantly” in touch with Meghan, saying the royal often “checks up” on her.
Posting a statement on her Instagram stories, she wrote: "I'm going to tell this once and for all. Meghan and I are family.
"She is the kindest friend and has checked up on me every day."
However, the source claims that they aren’t as close as they once were, adding: “It’s not because of [Exeter]. They’ve just grown apart.”
This follows an insider claiming in July that to stand up for her publicly".
A source close to Meghan said she was left "mortified" by Jessica's actions and feels she can "no longer be associated with her."
They told the : "She said Jessica is in no way a racist, but the way she handled the situation was tone-deaf and heartbreaking.
"Meghan said friends reflect friends and because of what's at stake she can no longer be associated with Jessica, at least not in public.
"She has to do what she has to do in order to preserve her dignity and her own reputation."
The Duchess of Sussex, who is currently living in California with Harry and Archie, one, reportedly met celebrity stylist Jessica Mulroney while she was living in Toronto filming Suits.
In August, Jessica shared a photo of Meghan and her son on the Duchess' wedding day and said it brought her "pure joy".
However, she has since deleted the snap.
