A RAPPER and his five-year-old daughter have been killed in a horrific car wash shooting on Monday morning.
North Texas rapper G$ Lil Ronnie and his young child were ambushed by two men shortly after 10:49 am.
The rapper, who is known as Ronnie Smith, and his daughter were both pronounced dead at Slappy's Express Car Wash in Forest Hill, Texas, about ten minutes outside Fort Worth.
Additional police were called for backup to help control a crowd that quickly formed after what investigators believe was a targeted shooting, local Fox affiliate reported.
Police have issued a warrant for one of the two unnamed suspects who got out of a four-door Kia and shot the pair.
"He was a rapper," Stella Houston, Smith's aunt, told KDFW.

"He didn’t bother nobody. He didn’t target nobody.
"He was a family man, and he was going around rapping, okay. Why would you target him?"
Houston mentioned that Smith's daughter just celebrated her fifth birthday on Sunday.
"Cleaning the car out, and somebody came through shooting and killed him and the baby," she said.

"And a baby. His baby. A baby!"
Becky Johnson, a neighbor who lives across the street from the car wash, said she initially heard six rounds of gunshots from inside her home.
"Six the first time, and then it was half a second, and I heard six more," she said.
"Then a second later, I heard three.
"I could see people fleeing for their cars."
Videos from the scene showed several bullet evidence markers and a vacuum still in the rapper's car.
The shooting marks the fifth homicide of the year in Forest Hill--a shocking statistic considering that the city did not have a single murder all of 2024, local NBC affiliate reported.
"You just got to be careful out here, watch your step, it’s crazy out here," Forest Hill resident Randy Owens told the outlet.
"You’re not safe nowhere, you just got to pick your spots, you know what I’m saying?"
Slappy's Car Wash said in a statement that it is "shocked, appalled, and deeply troubled by the senseless and violent events that occurred today."
"Right now, there are more questions than answers.
"Thankfully, law enforcement and medics responded quickly and worked to secure the area, protect and treat the victims as well as our people who were working early this morning."
