Girl, four, killed in house fire which left second child, two, & woman in 20s injured

A FOUR-year-old girl has tragically died after a horror house fire as a woman in her 20s and two-year-old remain in hospital.
Police and fire crews responded to calls from the scene on Kingsley Road, in Lynemouth, Northumberland at around 9.30pm on Monday.
Despite the desperate efforts of emergency services, the young girl was found inside the property and pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman in her 20s and a two-year-old girl were also taken to hospital, where they remain in a stable condition.
The four-year-old victim has not yet been named.
A police cordon remains in place as officers continue their investigation.

Floral tributes, balloons and candles have been left at the scene.
One tribute read: "Forever young precious girl. You've touched the hearts of the whole village. Sleep tight, sweet dreams."
Another said: "Love always, always remembered, always in our hearts."
A third wrote: "Rest in peace little angel."

Detective Chief Inspector Louise Jenkins said: “This is an absolutely devastating incident in which a young girl has tragically lost her life.
“All of our thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
“Enquiries remain at a very early stage, and with the support of our partners from Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service we are determined to establish exactly what happened.
“We are asking anyone with information – no matter how small or insignificant it may seem – to come forward and share what they know."
A spokesperson for Northumberland Fire and Rescue said: "We were called to a report of a house fire in Kingsley Road, Lynemouth at 9.16pm last night.
"Three fire appliances attended and the fire was extinguished a short time later. Enquiries are continuing alongside Northumbria Police."
