Boy, one, fighting for life & child, 5, injured after horror crash involving 3 cars on busy road as cops launch probe

A ONE-YEAR-OLD boy has been left fighting for his life following a horrific crash involving three cars on a busy road.
A three-year-old has also been left seriously injured after the shocking collision at around 5.30pm on Friday near Amesbury, Wiltshire, on the A303.
Police say a grey Skoda Karoq slammed into a white Peugeot 208 travelling in the same direction near the Bulford junction on the busy stretch of road.
After the clash, the Peugot spun out uncontrollably, flying across the barriers onto the westbound carriageway before ploughing into a Volvo.
Those inside the white Peugeot were a woman in her early 20s, who was driving, and the two youngsters.
The family were rushed to the hospital, with the one-year-old suffering from "life-threatening injuries", and the driver from "serious but not life-threatening" injuries.

While the five-year-old boy was also rushed to hospital, his injuries were not believed to be life-changing.
The driver of the Volvo, a man in his 70s, also suffered minor injuries.
After the terrifying crash, the road was closed in both directions but it has since reopened.
Police have now launched an urgent appeal for any dash cam footage of the horrific collision.

In a statement on Saturday, Wiltshire Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A303 near Amesbury yesterday afternoon, in which a young child suffered life-threatening injuries.
"The incident took place at around 5.30pm near the Bulford junction, east of Amesbury.
"A grey Skoda Karoq has joined the A303 eastbound at the Amesbury Road junction and has collided with a white Peugeot 208 travelling in the same direction."
The force added: "This has caused the Peugeot to spin onto the westbound carriageway through the gap in the barriers for the Allington track, colliding head-on with a silver Volvo V70 travelling in the opposite direction.
"The road was completely closed in both directions to allow for recovery to take place.
"The eastbound carriageway has now reopened and the westbound carriageway is due to reopen shortly."
