COPS tracked down an Asian gran after a woman reportedly screamed “you’re all going to die” at a Las Vegas concert crowd minutes before the mass shooting.
Marilou Danley, 62, was named as a “person of interest” after it was claimed that she was staying with the gunman who carried out the deadliest shooting in US history.
She was tracked down by police in a massive manhunt after reports circulated that a woman had taunted the audience at the Route 91 country music festival.
Just 45 minutes after the woman was escorted out of the venue, gun maniac Stephen Paddock sprayed thousands of bullets into the festival crowds from a hotel balcony.
Cops confirmed the sniper was found dead on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay resort and casino.
One witness claimed she saw a woman pushing to the front of the crowd with a man yelling "They're all around... You're all going to f***ing die today".
The woman was reportedly removed from the venue around 45 minutes before the bloodbath.
It is not yet known whether the woman escorted from the concert is Danley.
Danley is understood to be the shooter's girlfriend and lived with him in a remote retirement village in Mesquite, Nevada.
She holds an Australian passport and is possibly of Indonesian decent, it has been claimed.
Police launched a search for the gunman's "companion and roommate" Danley.
"We are interested in a companion that is travelling with him [the suspect]," Sheriff Joe Lombardo said at a press conference.
"Her name is Marilou Danley. She is an Asian female, approximately 4ft 11in, weight of 111lbs.
But they have now reportedly ruled her out as a person of interest.
On her Facebook profile, Danley describes herself as “proud mum and grandma who lives life to the fullest.”
Country singer Jason Aldean was performing on stage at the 30,000-strong concert when gunfire rang out.
Horrifying video shows blood-soaked crowds running in terror from the country music festival.
Over a period of more than a minute, at least four separate periods of sustained gunfire were heard as hundreds of rounds were unleashed into the crowd, which included children.
Festival-goers were seen diving for cover as bullets whizzed overhead, with traumatised witnesses claiming they saw victims being hit in the head.
Bullets whizzing through the venue would have created an echo effect, only adding to the terror and confusion as people struggled to escape.
University Medical Center spokeswoman Danita Cohen confirmed the Las Vegas hospital was treating dozens for gunshot wounds.
Witnesses told Sky News it was an "ugly scene", with one woman shot in the top of the head.
Local media reported that many people had run into the nearby airport for cover.
Flights destined for the McCarran International Airport have been diverted.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department asked people to avoid the southend of the Strip, saying parts had been shut down as they investigated reports of an active shooter.
Officer Aden Ocampo-Gomez says deputies are heading to the scene Sunday near Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.
Local police said: "We're investigating reports of an active shooter near/around Mandalay Bay Casino. Asking everyone to please avoid the area."
They added that they had closed a freeway.
