  • Milkins 3-4 Pang (49-24)

A 40 break for Milkins who opens up a 25-point lead.

He misses a middle distance red into the right centre pocket when in the groove. Though he had shaken his head for the three pots before that, not pleased with his cue ball placement.

Pang sinks a good, long red and is looking to close this gap.

  • Milkins 3-4 Pang (10-24)

Pang thinks there's a plant on when playing into the pack. But all he does is open up the reds and not get the cue ball safe.

Milkins punishes him with a good red into the corner pocket.

And with a few loose, he has a chance here to level this match.

  • Milkins 3-4 Pang (9-24)

Magic from Milkins! Pang tries again to be cute leaving the cue ball almost touching a red on the right cushion.

Milkins strikes through the cue ball and the red arrows into the yellow pocket.

He gets the black in his next shot too but the reds aren't sitting kindly, so again has to play safe.

  • Milkins 3-4 Pang (1-20)

Pang the first with the chance to put his nose in front.

His pot on the a black could see him open the reds up with the cue ball. But it's a tentative shot and the red is now amongst the pack.

He's having to play safe now.

  • Milkins 3-4 Pang

And he'll break in this eighth frame.

  • Milkins 3-4 Pang

Much better from Milkins and he's right back in this now!

A 91 break secures the frame which he'll be thrilled about.

However, he missed the pink during his clearance which cost him the chance of a century break, which might just annoy him ever so slightly.

He played much quicker there and looked more assured. We have a match on our hands.

  • Milkins 2-4 Pang (32-5)

A peach of a red from Milkins! He smashes it into the corner pocket when Pang tries a cute safety on that cushion.

It rattles its way into the pocket and sits nicely for the black which he follows up with.

Another chance to put a score together here and put himself in a good position to claim this frame.

  • Milkins 2-4 Pang (24-5)

He couldn't get safe either, Milkins.

So we're now in a stalemate of tippy-tappy on the cue ball, barely touching some of the reds in the centre.

  • Milkins 2-4 Pang (24-5)

Nightmare for Milkins, it really is.

He spins the cue ball into the pack after a firm pot of the black into the right corner pocket.

It spreads the reds fine enough but the cue ball doesn't move away from the cluster, leaving him absolutely no pot at all despite 10 reds being on the table.

Kinda sums up this evening for him, unfortunately.

  • Milkins 2-4 Pang (9-5)

A poor Pang safety this time sees Milkins with a chance now.

The reds are in a pack still as he puts together a break of nine so far but he's still at the table.

You can't be certain with some of his misses so far but this could be a frame-winning visit if he plays it right.

  • Milkins 2-4 Pang (0-5)

Pang with a terrific long red from the Milkins safety.

Into the right corner pocket and leaves him nicely on the brown.

He smashes it into the yellow pocket with some force to get back down the table. He leaves nothing on so has to revert to a safe shot once more.

  • All eyes on

The middle divider has been removed in the Crucible, so everyone in attendance can watch this match.

Some have left already mind you. But there's plenty that have stuck around.

    Pang to break.

  • Milkins 2-4 Pang

Great composure from Pang and a break of 84 sees him punish a loose Milkins safety.

The Englishman shaking his head several times as Pang plotted his way around the table with some really well taken shots. His cue ball control was the most impressive aspect.

He stops that mini-revival from Milkins in emphatic fashion and restores a two-frame lead.

  • Milkins 2-3 Pang (22-1)

Milkins on a break of 11 but the cue ball position after the last red pot means he's not on the right side of the blue.

He knocks the blue in but has to do it with some power to get the cue ball down the table, though it hits the green and stays near the baulk.

He now has to play safe and Pang smashes in a long red before playing safe himself.

We're in for a late one!

  • Milkins 2-3 Pang (6-0)

Just the one game to focus on then. A result for someone who has to type away, I will admit....

But it's a fascinating one game anyway, with Milkins winning the last two frames.

We're in the middle of a safety exchange as things stand. The pack of reds still tight, though the black is plum against the right cushion.

  • Wilson 5-10 Bingham

Bingham pots another red and that'll be that.

His break ends pretty quickly but he's too far ahead for Wilson to catch and he climbs out his chair to offer a handshake.

Wilson is the FIFTH seed to lose in the first round already in this tournament, which is only a few days old.

Remarkable. Bingham comes through qualifying and he wins his first round match well.

  • Wilson 5-9 Bingham (6-70)

Bingham misses a red - just - and hands Wilson one more chance to come back here.

He's 64 ahead and there's only 59 on the table to play for. He needs two snookers here.

  • Milkins 2-3 Pang

The first frame after the mid-session interval is over in the blink of an eye on table two.

A break of 83 for Milkins, capitalising on a loose safety from Pang, enough to claim the frame.

Two on the spin now and he looked great popping around the table there. I told you he needed the break to come!

  • Wilson 5-9 Bingham (6-58)

A break of 35 for Bingham who gets an unfortunate canon to bring that to an end.

52 points is his lead with 75 to play for as he's forced to play safe.

The safety shot isn't great but the reds are awkward and he'll be back shortly.

  • Wilson 5-9 Bingham (6-28)

Excellent red into the right corner pocket from Bingham.

With the black towards the baulk cushion, the cue ball heads that way and nudges the black over the yellow pocket.

Played to perfection there and it's a chance again for a break. A potentially match-winning break.

  • Wilson 5-9 Bingham (6-23)

Bingham puts a lead together and is unlucky with the action of the cue ball into the reds after a black pot when it leaves nothing on.

Wilson comes to the table and his break of six is cut premature when he pots the cue ball into the right corner pocket. Another costly mistake for him at a vital stage.

The pair are locked in a safety exchange.

  • Wilson 5-9 Bingham (6-0)

Wilson must win five frames on the bounce now.

He's started on the right foot with a great red into the left centre pocket, with the blue following in the next shot.

He's forced to go safe after.

  • Wilson 5-9 Bingham

Well he gave it a go, kinda!

When leaving the red on after a snooker attempt, he flicks the red away with his left hand to concede!

Bingham now one frame away from the second round.

  • Wilson 5-8 Bingham (24-65)

A half-century for Bingham comes to an end (55 in total) as he plays safe on a red.

Wilson needs two snookers but we know he'll give it a go!

  • Wilson 5-8 Bingham (24-47)

Bingham at the table currently with an ongoing 37 break to his name as he looks to put this frame to bed in this visit.

Great cue control from the latest red sees him play to a simple blue in the centre at the perfect angle to get back on the reds.

He was missing those earlier tonight.
