62. The more you see that save, the better it gets.
It must have been such a tight call with it not being over the line.
Great reactions from Martiinez to every get to it, let alone keep it out.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
58. Sometimes when Villa's defenders get the ball, they look clueless as to what to do with it.
Passing it all the way back to Martinez.
This is not what you expect to see from an Unai Emery side.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
56. It is rare that we see a nil-nil in the Premier League.
This match could be the exception to the rule this evening.
Williams tries his luck from some way out but it is never troubling Martinez in the Aston Villa goal.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
54. Comedy of errors from a corner there.
The ball drops to Duran who completely misses his kick.
As it bounces, he is able to try an acrobatic effort which would have been some goal if it had more accuracy.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
52. Aston Villa have dominated the ball since the break.
They are lacking the quality in the final third however.
You cannot see it being long before Emery thinks about getting Watkins on the pitch.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
48. Digne clips a cross into the box towards Cash.
He is unmarked but strikes his volley poorly.
Gibbs-White almost gets caught on the ball but Forest hack clear.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa

Murillo went straight through the back of him to get the ball.
Chance for the visitors to ask some more questions of Sels.
Kick-off: Nott'm Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
We are back underway at the City Ground.
Something needs to give if we are to find a winner.
Nott'm Forest get the second-half started.
HT: Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
Nott'm Forest need to turn it up a couple of gears after the break.
They have had a touch of luck with both the referee and VAR deciding Villa should not have a penalty in that first-half.
Now they need to leave the visitors wondering what could have been as they take control of this match.

What a snooze-fest at the City Ground.
Both of these Euro hopefuls are approaching this as if they were playing away from home in Europe in the days when away goals counted double.
Forest and Villa are giving the impression they would happily settle for a goalless draw.
There has only been pone shot on target - a Matty Cash potshot which Matz Sels parried away .... in first-half stoppage time!
HT: Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
Well that was a drab half of football.
The highlight being the whistle from the referee.
Both sides need to up their game at the City Ground.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
45. The biggest groan of the first-half right there.
When the official raised his board to notify three more minutes were to be added.
Who knows, they may surprise us with a goal.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
43. Rogers has looked the one player capable to unlocking this Nott'm Forest defence this evening.
He cuts in from wide and looks to bend a left-footed shot into the far corner.
It is well headed away from the defender, that looked like it would go close.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
41. We have a break in play as Murillo receives some treatment.
That is the last thing they need, an injury to their rock in defence.
He is back to his feet and walking gingerly.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
39. Digne whips a free kick into the box.
Konsa rises to get a flick on it but narrowly misses the far post.
Having seen another replay of that alleged foul on Rogers, it is wild that VAR thought it was fine.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
37. Aina plays a great ball forward, killed dead by the control of Wood.
He tries to make some space to get a shot away but it is blocked.
Gibbs-White is raging as he felt he should have received a pass.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
33. It is a strange one to like this Villa away kit.
They look like Man Utd from the late 90's in it.
Expecting the camera to pan onto Lee Sharpe at any moment.
Nott’m Forest 0-0 Aston Villa
31. Forest force a corner, a chance to test Martinez.
As the cross comes in, Murillo has a free header.
The centre-back puts it wide of the target.
Probably why he has only scored one goal for the hosts.

It's a cagey start from both sides here at the City Ground.
Jhon Duran and Ryan Yates have both blazed shots over but nothing to get pulses racing here.
Zzzzzzz.
