Coach’s new role revealed
Former Man United coach Benni McCarthy has taken his first step into international management.
The ex-Porto striker worked with Erik ten Hag before being let go last summer.
But McCarthy is now in the dugout himself as boss of Kenya.
And he has been tasked with leading the country to glory at the 2027 AFCON.
United warned off Pogba deal
Man United have been warned to avoid re-signing Paul Pogba on a free transfer.
Former Red Devils star Mikael Silvestre told : “No, I wouldn’t be tempted to sign Paul Pogba on a free transfer if I was Manchester United.
"I like Paul a lot but I wouldn't because it's going to be expensive and you don't know physically how long it’s going to take him to get up match fitness.
“It's too big of a risk (to sign Pogba). If you were signing him and he was in peak fitness, he had been playing regular football, with a perfect body and mind, then it would be a no brainer, but, after what he's been through as well, it's extremely difficult for him.”
Lindelof lines up exit
Victor Lindelof is reportedly pushing to leave Man Utd this summer.
The defender is on the fringes of the squad and missed a penalty in the FA Cup exit to Fulham on Sunday.
Portuguese outlet Record claims Lindelof is now hoping for a return to Benfica this summer.
And with his contract expiring at the end of the season, United will gladly let him leave for nothing.
Barcelona line up Rashford
Marcus Rashford could get his dream move to Barcelona this summer.
The Man Utd misfit was keen to join them on loan in January but ended up moving to Aston Villa.
Rashford is unlikely to have a future at Old Trafford, meaning the path is clear for a permanent exit at the end of the season.
And reports claim Barcelona are now putting together the funds to secure Rashford's signature on a long-term contract.
PSG exit Gyokeres race
Man Utd have been given a boost in their hunt for Viktor Gyokeres after PSG reportedly dropped out of the race.
Sporting's star striker has been in superb form this season with 37 goals in 39 outings.
United are keen on doing a deal after he worked successfully with Ruben Amorim in Portugal.
And reports claim the path is clear for the Red Devils to swoop after fellow suitors PSG decided to abandon their pursuit.
