PGA Championship 2025 tips

IT could prove difficult to split the world’s two best golfers, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy on the course this week - and it is the same story in the betting market for the USPGA.
Masters champion McIlroy has been the most consistent player in the game so far this year with three victories, while Scheffler finally opened his account for 2025 by romping to a five shot victory at the CJ Cup in Dallas.
So it is no surprise that most bookies find it hard to choose between them. They are joint favourites on most lists, and the best price you will find for either of them is 5-1.
Considering he has won four times at this week’s venue, Quail Hollow in Charlotte, McIlroy looks more tempting than the world No 1 at those odds.
But their dominance means there are some decent prices to be had for some other big name golfers, who could reward each way support.
