Prison Break fans overjoyed as Dominic Purcell confirms season 6 is on the way

PRISON Break fans have been left overjoyed as Dominic Purcell confirms season 6 is on the way.
The actor who plays Lincoln Burrows in the Fox drama series took to social media to make the announcement.
Posting a grainy selfie of himself, the star wrote: "Rumor number 1. I’m old. Yes. I’m 50…..Rumor number 2. I’m bald. No I have a full head of hair; the people demand I shave it.
"Rumor number 3, Will season pb 6 happen. Yes…..Rumor number 4. Do I like humans? No. Not on mass. Definitely not."
Prison Break fans were quick to respond to the news of a sixth season with varying levels of excitement.
One said: "This dude just casually said prison break is happening".
"SEASON 6!!! I'M SO HAPPY!!!❤️," commented another.
A third added: "you made my day!!!!👏👏👏😁".
"SEASON 6? REALLYYYY O MY GOD," said a fourth.
British-born Purcell stars in the popular drama alongside hearttrob Wentworth Miller.

The pair play brothers, with Purcell's character hatching an elaborate plan to free his innocent sibling from a death sentence in prison.
It ran for four seasons from 2004, before a revival series in 2017.
Millier's appearance was a surprise for fans after he was thought dead at the end of season four.
The fifth series saw the brothers reunite to save Michael, who's stuck in a Yemini prison after working with an ISIS-style terrorist group.
Last year a sixth season was dismissed by Fox Entertainment's CEO Charlie Collier, but Purcell's new announcement has given fans hope for the future.
