Why does George not talk in Peppa Pig?

GEORGE is a the younger brother of Peppa in kids TV cartoon Peppa Pig.
Fans of the show have a few questions about this character, one being on why he doesn't talk.
Why does George Pig not speak in Peppa Pig?
For the core Peppa Pig shows (so forgetting any spin-off programmes), George Pig is only two years old which partly explains why he doesn't say much.
His character is best known for repeating "Dine-Saw! Grrrrr!" as he loves his toy dinosaur.
George can only speak in simple terms when he asked something, so giving the basics like "yes" and "no" or repeating others who speak.
The only explanation given on the official Peppa Pig World website is simply that: "George can’t speak yet but there is one word he can say very well... ‘Dine-saw!!’"
Humorously, you can buy speaking toys of George.
Does George Pig ever speak normally?
In a series three episode titled Edmond Elephant's Birthday he says: "Juice, please!" which is a rarity in the show.
Most two year olds in real life can string a few words coherently together, so it makes sense why viewers are confused about George.
For those reading the books, in Peppa Goes To The Cinema, George learns to speak in full sentences.

What else confuses people about George Pig?
Most child characters in the show, like Peppa Pig, have name alliteration (which is when the same first letter is used in consecutive words).
Other examples include Susie Sheep, Zoe Zebra, Candy Cat and Rebecca Rabbit.
Some fans can't make sense of why George doesn't follow this rule too, suggesting he should instead be named Peter, Paul or Percy.
Peppa Pig's cousins, Chloe and Alexander, also lack alliterative names.
Again, there isn't a real reason for this that's known to viewers.
