Production for the third installment of the fan-favorite sitcom began in March 2022 in London.
According to Sudeikis - who also acts as executive producer of the show - the series was intended to follow a three-season storyline.
In early March 2023, he told that season 3 will, in fact, be the final season, saying it's "the end of this story we wanted to tell."
The last season of Ted Lasso is set to return to Apple TV+ on March 15, 2023.
New episodes will be released every Wednesday.
Season 3 includes a total of 12 episodes.

The character, Ted Lasso, is an American college football coach who is recruited to train an English Premier League team.
With no experience in the game of soccer, Lasso is hired by the team owner, Rebecca Welton, as a set-up for failure.
