Emmerdale spoilers: Suzy Merton’s role in Holly Barton’s death exposed
FOR six years, Moira Barton has been left with no answers about her daughter Holly's death.
However, Emmerdale newcomer Suzy Merton is exposed for her role in the tragedy - could she bring the farmer answers she longs for?
Suzy Merton (played by actress Martelle Edinborough) has been shrouded with mystery since her arrival in the ITV Dales.
But when her addiction to drugs came to light, her link to Holly Barton, Moira Dingle's late daughter, was quickly revealed.
The character told Leyla Cavanagh about her connection to the Holly, who died of an overdose after a wedding in 2016, but Moira (Natalie J. Robb) was left grieving for six years without any clarification.
This could all change next week as Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) and Suzy excitedly prepare for The Hop/Take A Vow showcase, which led to the truth unravelling in the first place.

Unfortunately, both Suzy and Priya are unaware that the slideshow due to be presented includes a picture of Holly Barton on the day she died.
When Belle Dingle and Jai Sharma begin the presentation in later scenes, Priya struggles to see an image of herself without burns but matters get worse when the picture of Holly flashes up.
Moira soon hounds Suzy for more information and there's no escape - the farmer has recognised her daughter's dress as the one she wore the day she died.
She's desperate to know what happened but her hopes vanish when Suzy lies.

But Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) is on to her partner and challenges Suzy, knowing she didn't tell Moira the truth about Holly.
Suzy finally comes clean and recounts what happened the night Holly died - until Moira arrives.
The pair worry she's overheard their conversation but, instead, Moira apologises for lashing out in earlier scenes.
