Strictly Come Dancing 2022 RECAP — Fans fuming as series favourite forced to fight for survival AGAIN in tense dance off

STRICTLY fans are furious after a favourite was in the dance-off AGAIN, despite previously getting the highest score of the series.

Strictly Come Dancing star topped the leaderboard with his opening Charleston routine, performed with - but Ellie Taylor was the latest star to hang up her shoes after being voted off.

and found themselves in the bottom two with and Johannes two after scoring 29 and 25 a piece - but the Countryfile presenter managed to escape the dance off.

And fans were outraged as found herself dancing for survival despite not being in the bottom two of the leaderboard.

One viewer ranted: "FLEUR WAS IN THE BOTTOM TWO AGAIN?! WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE! WHY DO YOU HATE HER?", while another said: "Fleur shouldn't be in the bottom two - not sure why the public don't rate her - think she's amazing."

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One on Friday at 8pm.

  • Criticisms for golden boy Hamza

    Anton said he wanted tighter legs and that Hamza's bottom half looked like he was playing for Bradford City (!!!).

    Craig said he only liked the "top half of the dance" as well.

    Motsi jumped to their rescue saying Jowita looked "like she was flying".

    Polish dancer Jowita Przystal and Countryfile and Animal Park presenter Hamza Yassin are performing an Argentine Tango.

    And as usual, the pair's connection is shining through.

    Hamza is one of the favourites to win the show after impressing the judges and audience with his moves.

    And this passionate dance shows a different side to one of the emerging showman of the series.

    He's got some fancy footwork going on there - and some trademark swings and lifts!

    The scores are in for Fleur and Vito's dance.

    Sorry let me just cool down after that spicy number.

    It was visible that the pair looked like they put everything into their dance.

    Shirley said there was "no doubt" about the chemistry between them.

    She said Fleur needs to exhale and breathe - in fact, she missed out because of her breathing.

    The pair are riding high after topping the leaderboard in Blackpool with a top score of 40.

    Wow, Shirley is not holding back.

    She was not keen on the dance they performed - and looked very serious as she told them her thoughts.

    But Anton thought it was "marvellous".

    Craig said he thought the dance between Ellie and Johannes was "lacklustre".

    Motsi says Ellie needs a bit more pendulum in the legs, make it "less heavy".

    She said the dance defintely gave the "taste of jive".

    Ellie and Johannes have previously performed a rumba, quickstep, pasa doble, cha cha cha, Viennese Waltz, tango and Couple's Choice.

    The pair are known to have a close friendship, which often shines through their performances.

    That's a total of 35 - not bad at all.

    Will Mellor scooped 38 in the first dance.

    She says that Molly just fights week-on-week.

    Shirley says the passion between the two was divine - and all in all a "fantastic" dance.

  • Anton says he's had a glimpse of Molly's real talent

    Fierce Molly is in the house!

    Anton says Molly is a really great dancer - but says she has to be ahead in the fiuture.

    He says tonight is the first time she's showed that she's head and shoulders from the pack - "now you're talking!" he says.

    Craig said the dance was a bit "blocky" - but he loved the story telling.

  • Molly & Carlos are tangoing!

    Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu are performing a tango.

    They're dancing to Billie Eillish's Bad Guy.

    Molly has been in the dance-off once, so will be hoping that she makes it through to next week.

    Looks tight, exhilirating and the stage looks amazing too.

    Mr Nasty says the only thing he could think of was his "free arm could have been more placed".

    He said it was absolutely fantastic.

    And Motsi praised their bond, saying she could feel the "fun" between them.

    Anton says it was his best performance of the series.

    Will topped the leaderboard in week one but hasn't managed to repeat the feat since.

    They look slick as ice - but Nancy's flicks are a bit tighter than's Wills.

    The studio has wished Kym the best as they revealed she will not be competing tonight.

    Tess says they hope she will be back for week 11.
