Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win fans brand ITV show a ‘fix’ after couple’s tactic sees them win huge sum of cash

ANT and Dec's Limitless Win fans have branded the show a 'fix' after a couple's tactic saw them win a lot of cash.
Continuing from last week's game, Paul and Ellie tackled a series of questions and breezed through the money ladder.
However, those watching at home couldn't help but notice that something seemed oddly effortless about their progress.
And when the pair revealed that they had done their 'research' before appearing on the gameshow, it didn't sit well with some viewers.
Many branded the ITV game show 'a fix' after watching the episode.
Taking to X/Twitter, one wrote: "This program is a fix up. As if you’d research s**t like that. Hope they lose it all.”
A second agreed: "I wonder this, of all the things they've researched and they get asked it.”
A third also raged: "Oh come on, seriously , countries beginning with “s” was your totally random research? Really? Who is buying this BS."
Another fumed: “I’m sure it’s 24 or 26. TV fakery at its best #LimitlessWin."
A fifth complained: "These two are a fake couple. If they win the big one, this whole show is a scam."
Despite some backlash, other viewers thought the couple performed well during the episode.
One wrote: "These two are so good!"
A second added: "Well done to them!"
After an intense episode, Ellie and Paul made a gutsy move by cashing out at £75,000, avoiding the risk of going home empty-handed if they answered the next question.
Host, Ant McPartlin said: "I don't know about you, but I couldn't handle any more!"
In the end, Ellie and Paul were ecstatic with how much they got to take home with them.
“£75,000 is an incredible figure, we can do so much with it," Ellie said.
Speaking about the show’s concept when Limitless Win first launched, Ant said he and Dec were “hooked in” by its uniqueness.
The star explained: “What makes our show different is, it’s the world’s first limitless jackpot.
“That’s the selling point for us and that’s what hooked us in, the fact that there’s no top prize.”
Earlier this year, Ant and Dec confirmed the show would be continuing when they signed a new three-year deal with ITV, bringing their time with the broadcast to a milestone 25 years.
Episodes of Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win is available to watch on ITVX.
