Stacey Solomon’s ‘entitled’ BAFTAs rant leaves BBC bosses horrified – and it’s a ‘second blackmark’ on her name

STACEY Solomon is reportedly under fire from BBC bosses who were left horrified by her Bafta rant.
Insiders say it's a "second blackmark" on her name having been rapped over BBC advertising rules.
As The Sun previously revealed, the I’m A Celebrity star faced unprecedented backlash over her Kardashian-style telly six-parter, Stacey & Joe, which revealed Stacey's marriage to Joe Swash has hit a rocky patch.
The couple openly promoted everything from haircare ranges to their Instagram accounts, going against the Beeb's guidelines.
Now she's back in the headlines having launched into a huge rant after her BBC home makeover show, Sort Your Life Out, didn't take home a gong.
Stacey, 35, admitted her "upset and devastation" over the loss to Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour in the Factual Entertainment category.
According to the , her moaning video left BBC executives stunned - and even blindsided her own PR team.
An employee told the paper: One told me: "Stacey is seen as normal, relatable and a good laugh.
"So when she put her video up on Monday morning there was some horror here. It felt entitled and was all very out of character.
"Admittedly, she did say she came out to share her frustration in support of her behind-the-scenes team who she wanted to pay tribute to. But there are other behind-the-camera teams on other shows who all work hard, too.
"You can’t wonder if the gloss might start to come off for Stacey. It would be a disaster for the BBC, they are hanging so much on her."
This latest controversy is another crack in Stacey's down-to-earth persona that helped her gained millions of fans — and millions of pounds in the bank — sharing her seemingly perfect life online.
However, many viewers of Stacey and Joe were turned off by the stark contrast in her reality and social media world.
The couple allowed cameras into their therapy session as they rowed about their relationship.
However, a second series was given the green light and the blended family are back filming.
It's unknown whether her Bafta backlash will feature in the new episodes.
Stacey told her followers: “We didn’t win a Bafta. And I know I’m supposed to take it gracefully like a champ but, I’ll be honest, I’m devastated!
“I’m not handling it very well, I’m not taking it very gracefully - I’m devastated! I’m devastated for our whole team, like I’m so gutted for our team.”
The Loose Women star praised the efforts behind the scenes of Sort Your Life Out, describing the programme as tough to make and expressing pride in her colleagues’ dedication.
Stacey added: “Everyone got dressed up and was really hopeful, I think because they work so hard. It’s not an easy show to make… and they so deserve the Bafta."
