Katie Price wishes son Harvey a happy 18th birthday in emotional tribute and says ‘you make me so proud every day’

KATIE Price today wished her son Harvey a happy 18th birthday in an emotional tribute, telling her first born: "You make me so proud every day."
The teenager - who has the genetic disorder Prader-Willi syndrome - has been raised alone by his mum since birth.
In a touching message on Instagram today, Katie, 42, said: "Happy Birthday to my Harvey Price. What a journey the last 18 years have been.
"You’ve defied all the odds and proven that you will not let your disabilities stop you.
"They said you’d never be able to read, but you love reading to your younger brothers and sisters.
"Your talent has no boundaries with your artwork on public display at Gatwick airport, designed your own greeting cards for Anna Kennedy Online and raising funds for the NHS by designing your own T-shirt.
"You light up a room with your unique humour and you have everybody in stitches.
"You keep me entertained with your diverse taste in music and keyboard skills, from Beethoven to Queen.
"Harvey Price, you make me so proud every single day."
Katie gave birth to Harvey following a brief relationship with now-retired footballer Dwight Yorke.
Dwight has had little to do with his son over the years, meaning Katie has raised him by herself.
But this has often been a challenge.
At just two months old, it was discovered that Harvey was partially blind. He was also diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, which leaves sufferers feeling constantly hungry.

As a result, those with the condition are prone to diabetes and obesity. Harvey is also on the autistic spectrum.
In recent years Katie has been fighting for a change in the law after her son fell victim to vile online trolls.
Harvey's Law will protect people from abuse online and Katie has even visited Parliament in an effort to get it enforced.
