Who is Dancing on Ice pro Andy Buchanan?

DANCING on Ice is getting ready to kick off a brand new season.
With the 2022 series comes the return of Andy Buchanan a Canadian ice pro.
Who is Andy Buchanan?
Andy Buchanan is a Canadian ice dancer from Wabumun, Alberta.
He began figure skating at just seven and went on to become a seven time Western Canadian Champion, including both junior and senior titles, in both singles and pairs.
He went pro in 1999 and has played various leading roles for Disney on Ice, including Scar, Simba, Tarzan and Aladdin, with his partner Robin Johnstone as Jasmine.
Is he married?
Buchanan is married to the pro skater Robin Johnstone.
Robin is a professional ice dancer from Canada.
She has been skating since she was two-years-old and first appeared on Dancing on Ice in 2013.
When did he join Dancing on Ice?
Andy joined the skating series in 2014.
He was partnered with Rebekah Vardy for Dancing on Ice 2021.
Andy's Dancing On Ice partner Rebekah Vardy thought her partner Andy Buchanan was faking his horrific skating injury before seeing "blood everywhere" and almost passing out.
The 38-year-old says she felt sick to her stomach after realising she had sliced his face open with her skate.
The injury left him in hospital as he got stitched back up again.
Rebekah told the press at the show's launch: "That was the most horrific experience."
"We were doing a move and the last thing he said to me was 'don't kick me in the face'.
"I said 'why would you say that, you're going to jinx us.'
"Then he nearly dropped me and I was like 'oh s***' what's gone on and when I looked at him I saw him holding his face.
Thankfully the pair were able to return to the rink - and despite Andy's new facial scar, there are no hard feelings.
