Kate Beckinsale hits back at troll who accused her of ‘trying too hard’ after she strapped cat to her chest
KATE Beckinsale had fans asking if she was fur real when she strapped her pet cat to her chest for a walk.
The Hollywood star, 47, fastened fluffy Clive in a baby sling and took to the street.
She was slammed by one Instagram follower who accused her of trying too hard to be eccentric.
The troll wrote: "You pride yourself on being eccentric, the whole thing smacks of to much effort."
Fighting back, the Underworld actress sniped: "omg it’s too funny you saying that with that hair do."
Animal-lover Kate also has another cat called Willow and a Pomeranian dog named Myth.
Lat November Kate was devastated when her Maltese-Chihuahua Ingrid died aged 11.
The Brit stunner has form for giving as good as she gets when it comes to trolls.
Last year she shut down a troll who dared to tell her she “needs a man” after splitting with toyboy Goody Grace, 23.

Kate shared a snap with her 4.4 million Instagram followers, when one person commented: "You need a man."
Clapping back to the keyboard warrior, she revealed she had no time for their limited views.
She replied to the comment: “I can assure you no one 'needs' a man. It's really a question of want one, or not xx."
Kate and Goody enjoyed a solid nine month romance before it fizzled out.
