The 42-year-old was spotted in Hertfordshire over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend searching for somewhere to live and now The Sun Online can exclusively reveal she is on the hunt for a property with a whopping nine bedrooms.

A source revealed: "Katie wants somewhere big enough for all of the kids to have their own bedrooms and for friends to stay - a house with nine bedrooms, or seven at the least.

"She needs paddocks outside for her horses, and is willing to splash out up to a million for a fresh start. She's excited about starting the next chapter of her life with Carl."

Katie's rep told us: "I can confirm Katie and Carl are looking for a house to accommodate them."

Carl has put his bachelor pad up for sale in Essex, ready to find their family home to settle down in.

Dressed in a pink tracksuit with matched hat, Katie looked around the property to see if she could imagine bringing her kids up there.

She held hands with daughter Bunny and helped eldest son Harvey into the car as they left the home.

Earlier today Katie revealed her emotional struggle moving back into her ‘mucky’ mansion while they look for somewhere new.

She made the difficult decision to keep her £2million property and completely renovate it - despite it holding such bad memories for her and her five children.

Opening up about her move in her latest  Katie admitted it was easier being back there with Carl Woods.

She said:  “Mentally I can come in here at the minute, before I was like ‘get me out, get me out’ but this is the longest I have lasted.”

The now infamous "mucky mansion" has fallen into disrepair over the years and recently suffered a collapsed ceiling and flooded kitchen.

Last year firefighters tackled a blaze at the mansion with neighbours convinced the property was burning down.
