CHISEL-JAWED Charley Palmer Rothwell is making a name for himself as a hunky filmstar - and it turns out his acting talent is in his genes.
The blonde hottie is the firstborn of EastEnders' favourite Patsy Palmer, known for playing gobby Bianca Jackson in the BBC soap.
Their relationship was revealed publicly after Patsy gushed over her "amazing" son in a touching Instagram post.
She took to social media to share an image showing her decked out in a Gatsby-inspired sheer gown and pearls sandwiched next to a shot of her eldest in a chic tuxedo.
Her sweet picture post might well have come as a surprise to her loyal fans who were left gobsmacked at learning the blonde hunk - who has starred in movies The Guvnors, Legend and Hacked - was her firstborn.
She accompanied her stunning images with the touching words: "We didn't do bad did we my amazing boy.
"Always trying to guide you ... I said trying to ...
"Our children are not our property we do not own them ... We love them!!!"
Patsy then tagged Charley's account and added: "I did say try ... lol."
Her fans were equally baffled at her acting offspring with one writing: "That's never your lad! Blimey, where does time go?
"You've got a good looking fella there!"
Another added: "Great photo. Proud as any mother should when looking at their child. We are their protectors for such a short time and then one day you wake up and they are men. From an outsider, you done good."
Meanwhile Charley, who has also starred in TV series Ripper Street, proved he was just as proud of his TV star mum.
The east Londoner uploaded a shot showing flame-haired Patsy sporting her super trendy ballgown with its plunging neckline which showed off her cleavage.
She accessorised with a cute headband and let her hair fall in loose waves and Charley gushed she looked: "9birrionmirriondorrar."
Followers of the actor were also left wide eyed at their family connection, with one writing: "Omg I never knew you was related," and another confused fan commenting: "Wait a minute isn't that the bird off EastEnders?"

The pair had dressed up for a night out at the GQ Awards this week.
In a sultry selfie, Charley, 23, revealed he had a haircut for the swanky event, posting the shot with the words: "New barnet for @gq man of the year tonight."
The pair currently live apart after Patsy, 43, jetted to America to set up home there.
Meanwhile Charley, her son with boxer Alfie Rothwell, is living in London to concentrate on his career on the big screen.
