When is The Hatton Garden Job film out, who’s in the cast with Larry Lamb and what was the heist?

IT IS considered the biggest burglary in English legal history - and was committed by four elderly men in a safe deposit facility.
What they did, and how they nearly got away with it, has now been immortalised on the big screen in a new film called The Hatton Garden Job - here's what we know...
What is The Hatton Garden Job?
The Hatton Garden Job is the name given to a heist committed by four elderly men who ransacked an underground safe deposit facility in London's Hatton Garden in 2015.
They used high-duty drills to get into the vault, going through the wall that was two metres thick and cracked into 73 boxes in the vault.
Each box contained a wealth of jewels and precious metals including diamonds, sapphires and gold.
Eventually the men, who were all experienced thieves, were all caught and all plead guilty to the crime.
Four accomplices were also tried for the crime, with only one walking free cleared of their involvement.
It's not known officially what the total value of what they stole was, but some reports estimate it could be up to a staggering £200million.
What happens in the film of The Hatton Garden Job? When
The film is set across the Easter weekend in 2015 that the heist took place.
Lead by 76-year-old Brian Reader, the team are assembled to plan the heist, carry the plan out, and then go on the run as the police follow them.
They want to take on one last big bank job before calling it a day, so the team are presented with an opportunity to take down the exclusive Hatton Garden Vault just days after leaving prison but it’s an old school job, requiring old school skills.
The convict recruits a team of veteran British criminals all eager for one final chance at glory but they must try to stay ahead of the law, dodge hired mercenaries and make deals with the head of the Hungarian mafia.
The Hatton Garden Job is released in cinemas nationwide on 14 April 2017.
