James May reveals The Grand Tour co-host Jeremy Clarkson ‘gets on his t***’… and he once thought about KILLING him

THE Grand Tour’s James May has told how co-star Jeremy Clarkson “gets on his t***” and once considered murdering him with a shovel.
Telly presenter May has revealed he barely speaks to his co-stars when they are not work – and certainly did not spend any time together over Christmas.
May, 53, told The Times: “We are sick to death of each other by the time we get out of work.
“We genuinely get on each other’s t***.
Asked why he clashes with Clarkson, May added: “Just his presence really. We are very different people.
“I am not interested in going shooting or to fashionable restaurants. We are work colleagues.”
He said: “Fantasise is probably a bit of a strong word. I’m only joking. I wouldn’t really kill him with a shovel.
“But it did occur to me that if you were looking for one of those perfect crimes I could probably have got away with killing him.
“The ice would have melted and he would have sunk to the bottom of the sea and so would the shovel.”
May revealed that the he Clarkson and Richard Hammond, received an email from Amazon boss Jeff Bezos saying “well done” after the launch of their Grand Tour.
But he said they had not revealed the viewing figures for the show.
He said: “He just sent an email saying well done.”
Asked if they will release the viewing figures, he added: “They never will. It’s policy. We know they are more than good enough but they won’t say what they actually are. They are happy.”
May who’s show ‘James May: The Christmas Reassembler’ about putting things back together is on BBC 4 next week, said he has “no quarrel whatsoever with the BBC.”
