  • Jamie's 'worst day yet'

Jamie is awake but the pain is worsening as he stares down the barrel of another bruising day of running.

Greg, I am broken," he told BBC's Greg James.

"I can hardly move my legs. Not even joking, the worst day yet. I know I keep saying that. I have ulcers all over my tongue and I don't know why.

"My right knee is totally blown up, I can hardly move my left leg.

"I'm going to need some help getting out of bed. I'll see you soon hopefully."

  • Could he hit a million?

Jamie has already raised a jaw-dropping £902,620 for Comic Relief.

As he gears up to hit the home straight, could the popular presenter attract £1million in donations?

  • One last push

    Welcome back everyone!

It's the final day of Jamie Laing's Ultra Marathon Man Challenge for Comic Relief.

Today, the Radio 1 star will have to dig deep as he aims to finish the incredible feat in Salford this afternoon.

  • Jamie's emotional reflection

"The thing that is ringing in my ears is that lovely person who was going through chemo and she donated some of her money to do this, and that is way more pain and suffering than I'm experiencing," he said.

"So if someone like that can donate and just be giving to someone else like me, that's what's getting me through this.

"Those are the kinds of things I'm thinking about to be honest."

  • Egg-cited for his latest pit stop.

Jamie has chowed on on some serious scran before heading off again.

"Lovely Charlotte who cooks the food has just got me some scotch eggs with some salad cream," he said.

"Which is unbelievable to be honest."

  • False alarm

Speculation was rife that the Radio 1 star had broken his foot.

    Thankfully, that is not true.

He's in terrible pain at the moment, but he's still on his feet and he's still kicking.

  • Inspiring example

Jamie Laing's brave venture is serving as a lightning rod for Brits up and down the country.

One X user wrote: "Thank you Jamie Laing for getting me out in the sun for a very short run after many years!

"Keep donating and following Jamie’s ultramarathon challenge!"

  • Wardrobe malfunction

Jamie has said he is already regretting slipping on an all-black outfit as temperatures of up to 20C beat down on the runner.

"It’s very hot out there so there’s a lot of heat, and I quite cleverly just wore black, which is not the one, so I’m basically absorbing all the heat," he said.

"So that was quite tough. My knees feel like they’re about to explode."

  • It's not looking good folks

Radio 1 presenter Charlie Hedges is on the road with Jamie and it looks like the ultramarathon man looks is on the ropes.

"I want to be real and honest with you all, Jamie is a broken man," she said.

"When he was laying down earlier on getting a massage, the noises that are coming out of that man's mouth because he's in so much pain, it's heartbreaking."

"It's so horrible to watch but just to watch this man push through all pain, I've got so much respect for him."

  • ‘I’m doing this for every person who’s experienced anxiety, OCD and depression’

Before starting his challenge, Jamie, pictured below with his wife, Sophie Habboo, sat down with Greg James to explain his reason for taking on the Ultra Marathon Man gauntlet.

He opened up about his own experience with anxiety, and said this challenge is about letting others experiencing their own mental health struggles to know they’re not alone.

"Keep being vulnerable, these sorts of challenges can be so misleading, and even experiencing what he's been through today, I can't tell you how proud I am," he told Jamie.

"Everyone's support, it just makes such a difference getting [him] through those hard moments."

  • A blood-curdling description of pain

Jamie had a chat with BBC Radio 1’s Matt Edmondson as he continues to swat away his demons.

"You know when you stub your toe like really badly and you want to scream at the door, it’s like that but a million times over," he said.

"It’s basically like banging your foot and knees and everything against a door, all day long, as hard as you can and then having to go again.

"I’m really hoping this is the worst part of the day!"

  • Jamie describes "rollercoaster of emotions"

"One minute you won’t be able to put one foot forward, all your body will be saying stop," he said.

"And then you have moments of complete euphoria. Some moments of irritation, moments of sadness.

"A rollercoaster of emotions at every single point."

  • Bruised and bloodied, but not bowed

Keep donating everybody, it appears to be keeping him alive and kicking!

Jamie said: "At every single point I think I'm going to give up, as I came in here I thought I don't think I can do this anymore, and then something like this happens, something like this where I get an update, people have donated and suddenly you get some endorphins, some energy, something in your muscles that just goes come on you can do this!"

  • Jamie spooks old woman as he continues to cry out in pain

"He’s on his hands and knees on the side of the road, palms in gravel. It’s a monstrous morning out there," BBC's Matt Edmondson reported.

"It’s worse than yesterday," Jamie admits. "I didn’t think it could get any worse."

"I screamed while going under a tunnel earlier, and there was a poor lady walking her dog who I hadn't seen, so I had to apologise."

  • HALF A MILLION RAISED

Jamie Laing has now raised £510,665 - a monumental feat.

But he's still got two days of hard yards ahead of him.

No matter what happens, he's done himself proud!
