Louis Walsh blasts Cat Deeley after she branded The X Factor ‘boring’ and claims she’s jealous as she desperate to host the show

LOUIS Walsh has blasted Cat Deeley after she branded The X Factor 'boring' and claims she's "jealous" because she's desperate to host the show.
The judge has hit back at the TV presenter after she suggested the talent show should be axed.
Cat, 40, is back in Britain after a long stint in the US, and she took a swipe at The X Factor earlier this week.
The former SM:TV star suggested viewers have become bored of the format and Simon Cowell should just take it off air.
X Factor judge Louis has now hit back at Cat, and sparked a potential feud as he claimed she is just bitter because she's never been offered the job of presenting the singing competition.
He told The Mirror: "I think the truth is that Cat would love to be hosting the show but we have already got Dermot [O'Leary] and he is the best in the business.
"She can stay on Sky 1 where nobody is watching...
"It is a bit of the green-eyed monster from Cat... Sorry Cat, we don’t need you."
Cat is returning to Sky1 with a new TV talent show Sing: Ultimate A Cappella and is hoping to find new talent to beat Cowell's X Factor act to the Christmas number one slot.
She previously said of X Factor: "I think every big show like that is cyclical, like Britain’s Got Talent or America’s Got Talent.
"It was Opportunity Knocks about 25 years ago – they are hugely successful and then people get bored, and then they put them away for a bit, then they miss them, then they bring them back."
She also suggested US producers are wrong to bring back cancelled talent show American Idol because it hasn't been offscreen for long enough.
Cat added: "I think they are bringing it back a little too soon, I don’t think they have given time for people to miss it.
"It is going to cost so much to produce that the ratings they’ll require are going to be so huge – and no one is getting those ratings any more."
