Who is Marcus Collins?
Marcus Collins is an English singer from Liverpool, Merseyside.
He was born on May 15, 1988 - which makes him 30.
Prior to his singing career, the star worked as a salon hairdresser.
Marcus rose to fame when he appeared on The X Factor as a contestant.
Following the show, the 30-year-old released his self-titled debut album which peaked at number 7 on the UK Albums Chart.
The single of the album was a cover of The White Stripes' Seven Nation Army, which charted number 9 on the UK Singles Chart.
Since then, Marcus has performed in the musicals Hairspray and Kinky Boots.
He also dated Strictly Come Dancing dancer Robin Windsor between 2014 and 2016.
When was he on the X Factor?
Marcus was on the eighth series of The X Factor in 2011.
He joined as a solo artist and made it all the way to the finals.
He was mentored by Take That star Gary Barlow and finished the series as the runner-up.
