NICK Knowles was reunited with his estranged love child when the boy suffered a mystery illness aged four.
The DIY SOS host ditched ex-dancer Paula Beckett after fathering Tyrian-J in the mid-1990s after a brief affair.

Paula, now 48, said Nick wanted nothing to do with TJ as he was marrying his first wife.
But he had a change of heart when the lad fell ill.
She said: “Our son was in hospital and in so much pain.
"He was only four but Nick hadn’t seen him since he was a newborn baby.

“I wrote to his PA and was delighted when Nick wrote back saying he wanted to be part of TJ’s life.”
Paula said Nick had since been a “great dad” and paid for TJ, now 22, to go to a top private school.
She added: “He’s given him a lovely start to life.
"They look so much alike, they love the same things, especially cars and motorbikes, and they are both great cooks.

“Nick’s a gentleman and I’m pleased to say my son is a gentleman too.”
Nick has two children with first wife Gillian — Tuesday, 25, and Charlie, 24.
He had fourth child Eddie with second wife Jessica Moor in 2014, but they split two years later.
