DANCING on Ice's Wes Nelson swept Vanessa Bauer off her feet as he received the first 10s of the series tonight.
The Love Island hunk impressed the judges while dressed as a pirate for the Time Tunnel week.

In the VT before he performed, Wes said he was desperate to get the first 10 after achieving 9.5s in previous routines.
And his wish came true, despite a horror fall in rehearsals, as Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean dished out their top marks following his performance, leading Wes to pick his partner Vanessa up and swing her round.
Host Holly Willoughby said to him: "You wanted that 10 so badly didn't you?"
Wes replied: "Yeah I've worked so hard this week, my legs are literally in bits.

"I can't even talk, we've put all the work in this week and it's paid off."
Chris called him "jumping Jack Sparrow" and said: "We asked for creativity, you put your heart and soul into that.
"I loved the flow that you had, loved the speed over the ice, I love your connection."
Jayne added: "I like that you're still pushing yourself, it wasn't an easy routine.

Jason Gardiner added: "I loved that you incorporated the jump but stayed together as a partnership, that's creative, however what happened to the pirate?
"You didn't go with that with any of the characterisation."

Ashley Banjo concluded the critique saying: "I think these marks reflect exactly what it is, I think this week you are leagues ahead.
"I think you're starting to pull away. For me, best performance of the night."
