TOWIE’s Sam and Billie Faiers tell of gang attack

- They came at me like a herd of elephants... I could be dead

TOWIE sisters Sam and Billie Faiers told last night of their terror during vicious beatings by a gang of girl thugs.

Sam, 29, needed a brain scan after two attacks in the same night — during which she was brutally punched and kicked unconscious.

Showing The Sun two black eyes, a split nose, lumps and bruises and scratches down her back, she recalled: “I really thought I was going to die.

“They just came at me like a herd of elephants.

“It’s just a blur. I was being so violently attacked by so many girls there was nothing I could do but curl up into a ball. Then I passed out.”

We told yesterday how the beauties from TV’s The Only Way Is Essex were first set on when they went to a nightclub early on Sunday. The pair were kicked, stamped on with high heels and clawed by the wild-eyed thugs.

Blonde Billie, 30, said: “I was surrounded by at least ten girls on the dance floor. Sam was nearby. Then, in a split second, I’m on the ground and there is blood coming out of my leg.

“I had been hit with a glass or a bottle.”

Brunette Sam was also knocked to the ground at the Jet Black club in central London. The violent assault continued outside as crowds gathered to watch.
Billie was repeatedly beaten to the ground.

She went on: “I was in shock. They were calling me a slag. I kept screaming,
‘Why, why’, but they wouldn’t stop.

“They were punching me and hitting me with their high heels when I was on the ground. They pulled my hair and dragged me along the street.”

Her £1,500 Mulberry handbag was taken in the attack — containing her house keys and mobile phone. She also lost a bracelet, earrings and her shoes.

One good Samaritan, Leanna Belle, 27, was disgusted that no one was helping Billie and bravely stepped in.

She told The Sun: “There seemed like 15 girls pulling clumps of hair out of her head.

“I threw them off and tried to get back Billie’s phone. It was just appalling.”

Billie thanked Leanna yesterday, saying: “She was really trying to help. I’m so grateful.”

But the night of violence was far from over. Sam made it out of the club but was unaware that Billie had now been dragged around a corner.

She was thrown through several bins as the horrific attack on her continued.

Billie said: “I thought, ‘I’m in real trouble now’. No one could help me. They took my shoes, my bag and my phone. I can only compare them to wild animals.”

Luckily a friend named TJ, who had been in the club, hailed a cab and bundled Billie inside.

She was driven to her friend Greg Shephard’s home in Chigwell, Essex.

Meanwhile Sam was about to face a fresh onslaught.

Sam, who runs a fashion shop in Brentwood with Billie, was called by one of the attackers — using her sister’s stolen phone.

The yobette cunningly lured her to Repton Park, an exclusive gated estate near Chigwell.

Sam said: “She said they would give me back Billie’s things if I met them in Repton Park.” Sam agreed to the meet and set off in a cab.

But she said: “Within seconds of getting out of the cab I saw at least nine
girls running towards me across the grass.

“It was the same girls but they had changed into tracksuits and trainers — I can only assume to make sure they could run faster than me.

“I was smashed to the ground and just beaten. I was punched in the face and kicked in the head.

“I don’t know what was happening to anyone else but I just remember hearing the cab driver screaming for them to stop. I passed out. I can’t remember anything.” The girls stopped hitting Sam only when one of the attackers thought she was DEAD.

Sam said: “I’ve been told one girl started screaming. She though they had killed me because I wasn’t moving.

“If a kick had landed any differently I COULD be dead.”

As the attackers fled, pals carried her back to the cab. They headed to Greg’s home, where frantic Billie was waiting.

An ambulance was called and Billie was treated in hospital for cuts and bruises.

Doctors gave Sam the all-clear after a brain scan but ordered her to wear a neck brace. Billie said: “I was dragged around like a rag doll and Sam was nearly killed — all because of jealousy.

“They behaved like football hooligans. They were trying to kill us. I’m just so grateful Sam is OK.”

Sam added: “We’ve always been close. We’re both strong women and we’ll stick together through this.”

Both girls are determined not to let the the ordeal affect filming of the third series of ITV2’s Bafta-winning TOWIE.

Billie said: “We can film from home — but it depends what they want to do in view of our injuries.”

Yesterday the sisters spent the day eating comfort food and drinking tea with their mum, Suzanne Wells.

The sisters were comforted by flowers and calls from TOWIE co-stars, including Mark Wright, Lauren Pope and James Argent.

Mark wrote on Twitter: “Chin up, girls, it’s jealousy. Get well. Thinking of u. Love u both x.”

Maria Fowler added: “Jealousy is an illness!!! be strong, girls!”

Metropolitan Police confirmed last night they had received allegations of assault and theft and are investigating.
