What did Archie Mitchell do to Ronnie and Stacey Fowler in EastEnders?
Stacey’s been battling some old demons, but what exactly are they?

RUBY Allen’s rape trial has brought back some horrible memories for Stacey Fowler in EastEnders.
Ruby will take her friend to Archie Mitchell’s grave so she can face her demons. But what exactly happened between Stacey and Walford villain Archie. Let’s have a little reminder…
What did Archie Mitchell do to Stacey Fowler in EastEnders?
Archie Mitchell was the dad of Ronnie and Roxy and arrived in Walford back in 2008.
He was first seen on screen when Peggy and Ronnie Mitchell visited him looking for Roxy who had gone missing after discovering she was pregnant. Later Peggy and Archie (who was Peggy’s husband Eric’s brother) started a relationship and got engaged.
In October 2009 Archie found Stacey alone in the launderette and raped her. Stacey was suffering a bi-polar meltdown at the time and didn’t tell anyone. She was later seen muttering to herself that he was going to kill her.
When Stacey discovered she was pregnant (with Lily) she initially though the baby was Archie’s. But when she told Ronnie about the rape, Ronnie revealed that Archie was infertile.
Archie was murdered on Christmas Day 2009. It was revealed in February 2010 that Stacey had killed him.

What did Archie Mitchell do to his daughter Ronnie in EastEnders?
Ronnie and Archie clearly had a very troubled relationship and Archie seemed to prefer his younger daughter, Roxy.
It was revealed that Ronnie fell pregnant when she was a young teenager and Archie forced her to give the baby away. He later told her the baby had died. This was lies and Ronnie’s daughter, Danielle, came to find her. But Archie told Danielle that Ronnie knew who she was and didn’t care. Danielle died shortly after Ronnie realised she was her daughter.
It was later revealed that Archie raped Ronnie when she was 13. Ronnie had kept it secret from everyone. She later revealed the truth to Roxy, who refused to believe her.
The rest of Ronnie’s family including her mum Glenda and aunt Peggy struggled to believe her. Jack Branning supported her and eventually everyone realised she was telling the truth.
When Stacey confessed to Ronnie and Roxy that she’d killed their dad, Ronnie told her to leaver, but didn’t report her.
