Chris Pratt accused of shading ex Anna Faris as he gushes over wife Katherine Schwarzenegger in rambling Instagram post
FANS accused Chris Pratt of shading his ex Anna Faris in a new gushing tribute post to his new wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger.
The Guardians of the Galaxy actor, 42, thought he was just sharing a sweet letter dedicated to his partner, but followers called him out on “covert awful” message he was sending his ex in the process.
On Wednesday, Chris posted a photo of himself smiling for the camera as Katherine sat alongside him on the couch, turning her smile up toward him instead of the lens.
In the caption, he began: “Guys. For real. Look how she’s looking at me! I mean. Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!?
“We met in church. She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes i put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that’s love!
“She helps me with everything. In return, periodically, I open a jar of pickles. That’s the trade.”
Chris continued: “Her heart is pure and it belongs to me. My greatest treasure right next to my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck Rookie card.
“Which if you know, you know is saying a lot. It’s her birthday in about 6 weeks. So if I don’t get her anything, I’ll tell her to look back on this post. Love you honey. ❤️❤️”

After rambling a bunch about their relationship with one another in the post, fans took issue with a few of the things he wrote.
At the top of the list was how he seemed to shade ex Anna and the son, 9-year-old Jack, they share together.
In 2012, Anna gave birth prematurely and Jack spent one month in the NICU before the two could take him home.
Jack was born at just 3 pounds, 12 ounces and since then the parents have used their platforms to advocate and raise awareness about health care needed for premature babies.
In Anna’s 2017 memoir, she opened up about the emotional struggles she dealt with when she first learned Jack would be born prematurely, as well as the “emotionally exhausting” weeks after his birth.
She wrote: “The pediatric neurosurgeon sat Chris and me down to tell us that Jack had some severe brain bleeding and there was a chance that he could be developmentally disabled.
“I was in complete shock … So Chris and I did what we could, which was hold hands and hope and face it together.”
After what they went through, fans called out the Marvel actor for going out of his way to note that Katherine gave him a “healthy” child.
One upset fan wrote on Twitter: “‘Healthy Daughter’ when the son he had with Anna Faris was a preemie and has serious health problems makes me want to fight Crisp Rat even more.”
Another tweeted: “Anna Faris and her beautiful son deserve better than these cheap shots.”
A third said: “this whole post is yikes, but the ‘healthy daughter’ part hits really hard when you realize chris pratt and anna faris have a son with health issues since birth.”
The other aspects of the caption that people had problems with were the ways in which he spoke about his relationship with his wife.
Many commented on how he seemed to be making his pre-birthday message to his wife all about himself.
Others accused him of being possessive by saying her “heart” is his and for being OK with how much his wife does for him while he doesn’t do as much for her.
Chris and Anna met back in 2007 on the set of the movie Take Me Home Tonight.
