Strictly Come Dancing 2024 LIVE: Beetlejuice-inspired Halloween show saw all eyes on Wynne Evans once more

STRICTLY Come Dancing professionals are set to perform a Beetlejuice-inspired routine for the 20th-anniversary series' Halloween week.
The remaining 11 couples once again graced the ballroom floor, clad in a variety of eerie and Halloween inspired costumes.
During Sunday’s results show, the dancers will present a routine choreographed by Matt Flint, featuring Carlos Gu dressed as the iconic lead character from Tim Burton’s 1988 horror-comedy film and its sequel, which hit cinemas last month.
Singer Wynne Evans has come under fire again for allegedly telling a "crude" joke to one of the show's make-up artists.
He made a grand entrance to the ballroom dressed as the devil as his partner Katya Jones wrapped her arms around his shoulders.
But once the dancing started, he once again vanished from screens as viewers spotted his absence during some of the Claudatorium segments.

GORKA'S PRIDE
Gorka said of his time with Dr Punam: "It's been incredible, it's been a fantastic six weeks. I'm very proud of what she has achieved. She's a GP and a Mum.
"She had never danced before and I think she improved week by week.
"I think she is truly what the show is about, someone who doesn't have experience in the performance world came here and learnt to dance. She wanted to do so well and worked so hard. "
"Also I feel very proud and very honoured that we got to do a Bollywood dance, to represent your culture, show your culture to the world and open doors for so many people in your culture," he added.
TIME TO SAY GOODBYE
Speaking about her time on the show, Dr Punam said: “I am really proud of myself. You know I’ve taken on something that’s so out of my comfort zone.
"The one thing that I’ve very much learnt is to say yes more, and that there is no point in your life when you can stop learning new skills. I’ve learnt more than dancing, I’ve learnt so much from Gorka.
"Everyone’s been so incredible and it’s just memories that I’ll take home forever and I have friends for life here."
DANCE OFF TIME
First up is Dr Punam and Gorka, performing their Tango to Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics.

CRAIG'S RESPONSE
After Anton's comment, Craig hit back at Anton's criticism of Shayne, and said: "I don't agree with any of that. I think he danced all the way through it. I thought his shaping was exceptional.
"And I found it refreshing, because it wasn't just a normal paso that we're used to, you know, he was playing not only a matador, but a conductor."
|I thought it was absolutely brilliant what Nancy did with that, and I think he did it very, very well, and all that beginning part that everyone's so wonderfully complaining about, he wasn't just standing there, Shirley. He was shaping. He was really moving through every line.
"I loved it. Why can't we do something different with the past?"
JUDGES BREAKDOWN
Claudia was joined by the judges in the Clauditorium and discussed why they thought Shayne was in the dance off.
Anton explained: "I used one of old Len's phrases from years ago I remember, and it's one of these things that seems in mind. He said it was 'too much sizzle and not enough sausage'.
"I felt it was apt for that performance. The theatricality of his performance was extraordinary. It was as good as anything we saw for the whole evening as a piece of theatre, giving it top marks
"I think all the theatricality was at the expense of the Paso, and it doesn't need much, it just it didn't have enough shaping in the Paso.
He added it "just became this piece of a dance that wasn't really identifiable enough".
However, Craig, naturally completely disagreed.

The 34-year-old dancer from Caerphilly, South Wales, received immediate attention from paramedics at Elstree Studios before being transported to Barnet Hospital.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed, “We were called just after 9 pm on Saturday to attend a medical emergency at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.
“One patient, an adult female, was transported to Barnet Hospital for further care.”
Dowden received an emotional welcome back to this year’s line-up having missed last year while battling breast cancer.

Many fans could not help but take to social media when they saw that Wynne and Katya appeared to vanish once again from the set.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed at home, with one writing on social media: “Where’s Katya and Wyn?”
A second wrote: “Is Wynne not allowed to be with Claudia and the other contestants at the top of the stairs? Have not seen him there all show.”
“Are they deliberately keeping Wynne & Katya away from the cameras,” asked a third.
Wynne and Katya did eventually appear for their Salsa, earning a total of 31 points, before vanishing once again.
The BBC insisted Wynne was in the ‘Clauditorium’ when contacted by The Sun, despite fans not seeing him.
Strictly star's dad defends daughters prior experience
Strictly star Tasha Ghouri's dad has been been accused of "throwing her rivals under the bus" while defending her dance experience.
Former Love Island star Tasha, 26, raised eyebrows when it was announced she'd joined Strictly Come Dancing this year, having competed in several dance competitions previously.
Now her dad Tarek has been slammed by fans for taking to social media to hit back at negative comments about his daughter, who is partnered with Aljaz Skorjanec.
Writing on , one said: "Every single day this man is fighting with idiots on Facebook who mention Tasha’s previous dance experience (a literal fact) by bringing up other contestants who’ve danced before and throwing them right under the bus with fans in order to divert from his daughter.
"I’m sorry but I think that’s really low down behaviour."
