1. Build colour

To build colour take a a dark-grey shadow on a tapered eyeshadow crease brush

Take a tapered eyeshadow crease brush, such as , and lightly dust it in a dark-grey shadow – we love .

Then, starting at the outer corner of your eyelid, drag the brush through the crease towards the inner corner, stopping three-quarters of the way along.

Sweep the brush back to the outer corner and down, running under the very outer edge of your lower lash line.

Build up colour for a look that is as bold or as subtle as you want to go.

2. Line

To add definition to your lower lashes use a black kohl liner

A black kohl liner is all you need for this next step. We love , to line the lower lashes, starting from the middle and drawing outwards.

Repeat on the upper lash line and be sure to wing it out at the end to join with the eyeshadow that’s already in place.

3. Add Depth

Add light to the centre of the eyelid with a light grey-silver colour

It’s time to inject dimension into your look. Sweep a light grey-silver, such as , across your lid, being careful to stick to the area below the charcoal shadow to avoid blending too early.

Apply with a smaller, flatter eyeshadow brush, such as to give more control.

4. Blend

Blend everything together with e large fluffy brush for a flawless finish

Now use a larger, fluffy applicator, such as , to work from the inner corner outwards to blend all three elements together in small, circular motions.

Don’t press too hard as this will end up swiping the product off – instead, use lighter strokes to diffuse the colours into each another.

Finish with your fave mascara.
