Classy Kate Middleton pens heartfelt thank you letter to fashion designer and reveals her plans to return to Pakistan

SHE WAS praised for her elegant ensembles during the recent royal tour of Pakistan - and now it has been revealed that Kate Middleton sent a heartfelt thanks to a fashion designer behind one of her much-revered outfits.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 38, penned a sweet note to Khadijah Shah, creative director behind luxury brand Elan, in which she also revealed plans to return to the country.
Last month, the royal mum-of-three wowed when she wore a black and white embroidered kurta to play cricket during a visit to the SOS Village in Lahore on the final morning of her five-day trip with Prince William, 37.
Now, fashion designer Khadijah has shared on a picture of the personal thank-you letter, on Kensington Palace-headed paper, that she received from Kate.
The Duchess wrote: "Thank you so much for all of your help ahead of my tour to Pakistan.
"I am so grateful to you and your team for the wonderful selection you made for me to choose from – although having so many beautiful things did make decision making a little more difficult!
"I loved the outfit I wore, so thank you for all your time and effort.
"Pakistan really is a wonderful country, which we both thoroughly enjoyed visiting and hope to return to one day soon.
"This comes with my warmest thanks and best wishes."
Captioning the post - which has received more than 1,600 'likes' - the Pakistani designer added: "I was delighted to have even been considered, this is just humbling to a whole different level.
"However what’s most commendable is the consideration, grace and thoughtfulness of HRH the Duchess Catherine, it is no wonder that she is so respected and beloved."
Khadijah set up her successful fashion label after completing a degree at the London School of Economics.
It is understood that Kate came across her work ahead of the tour.
At the time, the designer shared on Twitter how happy she was the Duchess had worn one of the brand's ensembles, writing: "We are absolutely thrilled with how elegantly she carried it, and grateful for this privilege and honour."
During the tour, Kate also paid tribute to Princess Diana by wearing a number of similar outfits during her engagements to those donned by her late mum-in-law while visiting the country in 1996.
