Meghan Markle news: Duke and Duchess of Sussex may use ‘SYMPATHY card’ in potential new Oprah interview

- When will Prince Harry’s book be released?
- Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's net worth explained

MEGHAN AND HARRY could “play the victim” and have another Oprah interview, a royal expert has claimed.

GeoTV reports that according to Duncan Larcombe, if a report from Buckingham Palace reveals that the Sussexes bullied members of staff, then they could have another bombshell interview to explain their side of the story.

He says: “For Jason Knauff to take that risk of reporting to Prince William, his ultimate boss, concerns he had about his staff and the treatment of them at the hands of one of the members of the Royal Family.

“That is not only unusual, but within the Queen’s reign this is absolutely unprecedented.

“I think the reason they are not publishing any of this is because the Palace is running scared of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“I think they know that if they publish the report, the next thing that will happen potentially is for Harry and Meghan to play the victim and go on Oprah and cause another world of pain.”

Prince Harry today laid bare "significant tensions" with one of the Queen's top aides as his police protection row went to court.

They revealed Harry believes the Queen's private secretary, Sir Edward Young, “should not have been involved” in the February 2020 decision, adding there were "significant tensions" between the pair.

The Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) - of which Sir Edward was involved - ruled Harry would no longer be given the "same degree" of personal protective security when visiting the UK.

  • Future King William ‘must pick up the phone’ to Prince Harry & ‘show leadership’

Prince William must pick up the phone to brother Prince Harry if he wants the monarchy to survive, an expert has claimed.

The Duke of Cambridge is still "deeply upset" about Harry and Meghan quitting the Royal Family, a friend of the future King said last month.

And Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told the Daily Beast: “If William wants to be a future king, a great leader giving inspiring addresses about the environment to two billion people, then the public are within their rights to expect him to be able to sort out a frankly pretty minor dispute with his brother. He has to start showing some leadership here.

“Eventually, William will have to pick up the phone. Harry doesn’t have to; he can just be a polo player with a gorgeous wife.”

He added: “The onus is on William. If he really does believe he is the chap chosen by god to be king, then he should be capable of sorting out this row with his brother.

“William has got a lot more to lose than Harry. The monarchy could be lost on his watch. That’s Harry’s ace in the hole," he noted.
