Woman shares bargain buy and nifty method to keep the heat in and stop draughty doors – and it’s only £1.40

AS the temperature continues to drop, we're all looking for ways to keep the heat in our house without resorting to turning the heating on.
And one woman was delighted when she headed to The Range to get a door curtain, and managed to nab an absolute bargain.
"Not everyone's cup of tea but with energy bills on the rise (AGAIN) and the cold nights creeping in you lose a lot of heat throughout your front/back door," Jennifer Pickersgill wrote on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook.

"Decided to go to The Range to have a look and I found this thermal door curtain."
The embossed thermal door curtain, in a neutral pale pink, didn't have a price on it.

But when Jennifer took it to the till, it scanned at just £1.40.
"I've put it up with a net cable and 2 eyes so I can just take it down in the day time if I wish!" she explained.
People were quick to compliment her bargain buy in the comments section, with many explaining how effective they've found the curtains to be in the past.
"I use these on every external door," one wrote.

"I have also found that they work amazingly on windows too! Don't look the best due to size but keep most drafts out!
"Also to keep cost down we use old blankets or towels across the bottom of the doors.
"They are easy to wash and most people have them spare in their cupboard."
"We’ve just put thermal door curtains up. They make a big difference," another added.
