Inside Pippa Middleton’s 30-bed £15m Berkshire mansion that’s ‘more impressive’ than sister Kate’s

PIPPA Middleton and her family live in Berkshire, in a £15million mansion a stone’s throw away from her sister Kate.
Her country property, however, is said to be “far more impressive” than Princess Kate’s four-bed Adelaide Cottage that is set on the Royal Family’s Windsor Home Park estate.
Pippa, 40, and her investment banker husband James Matthews, 48 live in a lavish Georgian stately home with their three children; Arthur, five, Grace, two and Rose, one.
The property is just a 20-minute drive from her parents, Carole, 68, and Michael Middleton, 74.
And features a whopping 30 bedrooms with 150 acres of grounds that leads to a river, complete with a walled garden and greenhouses, according to .
According to reports, the mansion was completely renovated and modernised by the previous owners.

But as of last year, reports suggest the couple want to add a ginormous outdoor swimming pool and tennis court to the estate.
Their plans mean digging up the walled garden where the previous owner cultivated fruit and vegetables.
According to planning permission requests shared by Richard Eden at Daily Mail, they need to ask for permission because the walled garden and main house are Grade II-listed and lie in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and near ancient woodland.
Pippa and James hope to replace it with a large 82 ft x 19 ft swimming pool, which has been dubbed "more than twice the size of a typical private pool".

Next to the pool, the lawn is said to be dug up and replaced with a tennis court where AstroTurf fake grass will be installed so the family can play "all-year round".
The kitchen garden’s potting shed is said to be converted into changing rooms.
Pippa and James bought the property in the summer of 2021 in an off-market sale.
A the time, a friend of Pippa’s told the Daily Mail she and her family are “thrilled”.
They said: “It’s a very exciting time in their lives. They are looking forward to living closer to her parents.”
The whole Middleton family are now neighbours, with Kate and Prince William on the Windsor Estate, and James Middleton and his wife Alizee living on a £1.25million farm in Berkshire.
Carole and Michael live in the lavish Bucklebury Manor, which is said to be worth £5million.
London pad
Pippa and James are used to living in such lavish properties having sold their previous house in Chelsea for £22.5million - £5.5million more than James initially bought it for in 2014.
The couple, who got married in May 2017, spent £17million on their London home which spans five floors.
Despite keeping their private life closely guarded, we know the mansion had six bedrooms, a home gym, an underground cinema, lift and room for staff.
After buying it, they renovated it to add separate female and male dressing rooms off the master bedroom as well as a nursery and air conditioning throughout.
Childhood home
As for where Pippa and her siblings grew up, the Middleton children spent their childhood in a slightly more modest Oak Acre.

The £1.5million home sits on one-and-a-half acres of land but was easily looked upon by members of the public.
It contained five bedrooms but all other details of the property have been kept private thanks to the new owner signing a non-disclosure agreement.
