‘I’m getting in my car immediately’ say shoppers as Morrisons launches nacho bar with loads of options for £2.50

DO you consider yourself a huge nacho fan and are craving some this week?
A Morrisons shopper showed how they took advantage of the supermarket’s new “nacho bar”, which lets you add your own tasty toppings.
The woman decided to get creative and opted for “hunters chicken” as their flavour of choice.
Taking to the Facebook group, they shared a photo of the tasty-looking dish they had created from Morrisons.
It showed some tasty-looking nachos covered with cheese, chicken, bacon, among other toppings.
They explained: “Morrisons new products from the pizza counter.
“Nachos with various toppings.
“This was Hunters Chicken. Only £2.50.
“Cooks in 15 minutes.”
A person who said they were a Morrisons worker was quick to comment on the post and share more information about the new nacho counter.
They claimed: “It started on Monday.
“Create your own or ones picked up from the counter. You actually get a whole bag of nachos in a large box.
“Although all nachos are’ create your own’ like the pizzas, you can pick three toppings of your choice.
“Any 10inch pizza and large nachos are £5.
“You actually got a good deal as that should have been in a smaller box.
“The larger box you have are £3.50.
“Hope this helps anyone, and yes I work in the department.”
The time supermarkets reduce their products vary across stores.
Here's a rough supermarket-by-supermarket guide:
Aldi
Aldi uses a red sticker to show reductions on fresh products such as bread, meat, fruit and vegetables.
This is when they have reached the last day of shelf life.
Red stickered items are most commonly found at opening and closing times.
M&S
Reduction times can vary from store to store but is most likely to occur near closing time.
Asda
Asda told that yellow stickers are applied twice a day - in the morning and evening.
Co-op
Co-op told The Sun its reduced-to-clear prices are generally applied about four hours before the store closes.
Lidl
Lidl has a similar procedure to Asda and Aldi with reductions twice a day.
However individual stores may opt to reduce prices throughout the day.
Morrisons
Shoppers online have said that Morrisons does the best bargains first thing in the morning.
However the store told Which? that there is no specific times for yellow sticker price cuts.
Sainsbury's
Sainsbury's told The Sun it's at the store manager's discretion whether to offer discounts.
However shoppers have reported that the best deals are in the evening from 6pm.
Tesco
Tesco has said there is no specific time for reduction, but again most people found that prices were reduced from 6pm.
Waitrose
As with most of the other stores, shoppers have said the best reductions are found before closing.
However the store stated that there is no specific time for yellow stickers to be applied.
The post has racked up over 1,000 likes, and people were quick to comment and say they were desperate to try the ‘create-your-own’ nachos.
One person wrote: “Get in the car we are going.”
Another added: “fancy a trip to Morrisons.”
A third commented: “This looks nice.”
This comes as Morrisons has launched a massive change that threatens to make it better than Aldi and Lidl.
The UK's fifth-largest supermarket chain could soon be about to fly up the ranks after announcing the decision to price-match hundreds of products to its German rivals.
This means that a number of lines will drop in price and become even more affordable for its shoppers and Brits in general.
Aldi and Lidl are considered the two cheapest supermarkets in the UK but Morrisons are now looking to gain ground on the pair by offering certain items at the same price or lower than its budget rivals.
