My ‘meat’ went black after vasectomy reversal – but I went on to have 13 more kids so it’s worth it, says Noel Radford

DAD-OF-22 Noel Radford has bravely opened up about his vasectomy reversal surgery which allegedly left his ''meat and veg'' black, their first-ever book claimed.
The patriarchs of Britain's biggest family, Noel and Sue Radfords, launched their book - - a little over a week ago, and the page-turner is full of surprises that are sure to shock fans.

Despite being a father to a whopping 22 kids, the books claimed that Noel, now 53, had a vasectomy performed on him in his early 30s - however, this was a decision the couple soon came to regret.
According to the parents, the vasectomy surgery was relatively ''quick'' - and it seemed like the doctors did not try to ensure that this is what they truly wanted.
''You think about the ages we were - me 32, and Sue 28 - and how many more kids we may have wanted in the future and how many we could have actually had if we decided to not go ahead with the vasectomy.
''But we weren't asked anything like that,'' insisted Noel, who said that at the time, there were also four or five other guys sitting in the waiting room.

''It's horrible to say, but they could also have asked, 'What happens if you separate? You're both still young - what if you end up wanting a family with someone else?'''
However, as they recalled the experience more than two decades ago, there was none of that, ''which is probably why it all went ahead''.
Sue echoed: ''Nowadays, especially if you're quite young, I think it's very difficult to get it done.
''There's certainly counselling involved, with discussions taking place about how you might feel in the future.''

But just as the 20 or so minute long procedure was over, the regrets kicked in - ''straight after coming out of the hospital''.
The vasectomy also had a negative impact of the couple's relationship, which had already suffered a little weeks before the surgery, Sue said.

''I don't think me and Noel were getting on too great at the time - probably starting from when the appointment had been made six weeks before the vasectomy was carried out.
''It was the realisation that it was all final and there would be no more children - our relationship definitely changed at that time.''
Although at the time Sue - who was pregnant with James - assumed this was most likely ''business-related stress'', she now believed ''it was all because of the vasectomy''.

Now, looking at their incredible journey, pie master Noel said that going back to have it reversed was ''the best thing'' he'd ever done, although the process was ''more complicated'' this time.
''[...] I always wanted to go ahead with it - from the minute we had arranged it to the minute I was put under so they could carry it out.
''We know this was what we definitely wanted - and it was the best thing I ever did.
''The vasectomy had been a terrible mistake, and was the worst thing I ever did.''
According to the book, which you can order for £16.99 on Amazon, the parents had to save up for the reversal surgery, which took them ''several months'' because this can't be ''done on the NHS''.
The total costs, Noel recalled, came to ''about £1.3k'' - and ''it was obviously worth every penny''.
After the reversal - which the father-of-22 said didn't give him ''any pain'' - ''the whole of it - the veg as well as the meat'' had gone ''all black''.
''Honestly, I have never, ever seen anything like it,'' Sue said,.

Horrified Noel claimed that the doctors had warned him of ''some bruising'' - but he wasn't made aware of just ''how extreme it would be''.
Luckily for the duo, after some time, the ''meat and veg'' went back to normal - and they went on to have 13 more kids.
