IT'S the trend thousands of people have sworn by to transform their gardens into tranquil spaces.
But others have insisted the practice of putting up shower curtains outside - to cover fences or grotty walls - is "terrible".

The differences of opinion came to the forefront when Wendy tried out the trend, but her daughter Annabelle was less than impressed.
"There's a serious debate in our house this afternoon," she said in a on their joint TikTok page.
"As to whether these shower curtains, which people are putting on their garden fences, look good or not.
"And she's absolutely loving it!"

"I think they're terrible!" she laughed, which earned her a stern look from .
"But there are very mixed thoughts on TikTok.
"I just think they don't look great but my mum has a very different opinion and loves hers!"

What's the shower curtain trend?
ANOTHER trend that has taken social media by storm is the shower curtain trend.
The trend sees people buying large shower curtains with fun prints on them, usually of exotic locations, and hanging them on their garden fence or wall.
The idea is to transform dull gardens into something slightly more exciting - and that's exactly what many homeowners have done.
People attached the water-proof fabric to the fence, creating an optical illusion of a sunny island paradise right in their back yard.
"I’ve got one up on the fence," a third commented.
"When I sit in my conservatory I now look at flowers & not my neighbours wooden fence! Looks great!"
