WHEN the time comes to give mattresses a spring clean, this 65p Aldi trick is perfect.
Many people wash their sheets with relative ease, but a mattress can be a bit trickier.
Taking to her Instagram story, Mrs Hinch recently showed a method of using bicarbonate of soda (or baking powder) to clean a mattress.
It's a product many members of the public already have - with Aldi selling it for 60p.
First step involves stripping the bed - which includes pillows, sheet, duvet and mattress protectors.
Then, you need to hoover the mattress and capture any debris or dust which may have gathered.

The next step is to sprinkle the baking powder over the mattress' surface.
Depending on resources, you could either use a sieve or by hand after sprinkling from the container.
When finished, leave the baking powder to sit on the mattress for a few hours.
Afterwards, hoover the mattress again - only this time to remove the baking soda.

If there are persistent stains, a possible next move could be to spot clean them.
After completing the above steps, proceed by leaving the mattress for a few hours to air out.
We previously told how Facebook account - which specialises in every day life hacks - had a similar mattress cleaning tip.
In a simple video, a person added baking soda and a few drops of essential oil into a jar before mixing together and sprinkling across a dirty mattress.
Up next was the "mattress massage" , involving the person rubbing the mixture into the bed to "deep clean" before leaving for an hour to work its magic.
Then, the mixture should be entirely vacuumed up, which is also said to remove any dust mites.
"You spend about a third of your life on your mattress," the video explains.
