However, this can lead to unwanted pests entering your home along with the fresh breeze.

But don't worry, a simple step can help banish spiders from your space this spring.
While the eight-legged creatures are a natural part of the home's ecosystem, helping to keep flies away, most people would prefer if they stayed outside.
Over the next few weeks, you will likely notice more spiders in quieter corners of your home.
Adeel Ul-Haq from shared his top tips for keeping these unwanted guests out of your home.

While there are expensive repellents available to keep spiders away, the pro revealed natural oils can work just as well.
"Peppermint oil is a great way to keep the spiders away for cheap," he explained.
"The strong smell overwhelms the spiders and encourages them to go elsewhere."

According to the expert, this DIY hack will also leave your space smelling "amazing".
To make your home spider-free, they recommend mixing 10-15 drops of peppermint oil with water and spraying the concoction around the entry points of your home.

This includes windowsills, door frames, and any cracks you may have in your home.
And if you're not a fan of peppermint, there are other scents you can use.
"Citrus peel from lemons or oranges can be rubbed on window ledges and skirting boards," Adeel said.
"Once again, these strong smells can overwhelm spiders without harming them."
They also suggested using a fan favourite cleaning product alternative.
Keep pests out all summer
IF you want to ensure that your home is pest free this summer, here's what you need to know.
Hornets and wasps - hate the smell of peppermint oil so spraying this liberally around your patio or balcony can help to keep them at bay.
Moths - acidic household white vinegar is effective for deterring moths. Soak some kitchen roll in vinegar and leave it in your wardrobe as a deterrent.
Flying ants - herbs and spices, such as cinnamon, mint, chilli pepper, black pepper, cayenne pepper, cloves, or garlic act as deterrents.
Mosquitoes - plants, herbs and essential oil fragrances can help deter mozzies inside and out. Try eucalyptus, lavender and lemongrass.
"A 50/50 split of white vinegar and water can help repel spiders too as the key ingredient acetic acid, the sour taste disrupts a spider's ability to detect prey and navigate its surroundings," he said.
"This makes spiders avoid any places that it is sprayed."
And if all else fails, you can always try an old wives' tale using an item from your garden.
Placing conkers on windowsills or in corners of rooms to keep the spiders away has been an age-old tradition for many.
However, there is no evidence to suggest this step would actually work.
"Using conkers to get rid of spiders is one of the most popular hacks over the years," Adeel said.

"Some believe the shiny surface puts spiders off but there's no evidence to suggest this works.
"The hack may in fact attract spiders as conkers rot over time and can become a food source for other insects that spiders may feed on."
