Primark unveils brand new summer range that’s ‘ideal for brunch or picnic dates’ in pastel colours & prices start at £6

FASHION giant Primark has unveiled its chic new summer range, complete with waistcoat sets, Peter Pan collar blouses and floral co-ords.
The high street store has upped its fashion game in recent months, including celebrity partnerships and producing bang-on-trend pieces at affordable prices.
Now, as we approach warmer weather, designers at the retailer have unveiled their latest creations - perfect for hot days in the UK and holiday wear alike.
Primark has even jumped on the butter yellow trend, which fashionistas have declared as the colour of the summer.
There’s the £20 Strapless Buttoned Vest, which comes with matching shorts or trousers, also priced at £20 a pop.
“Butter yellow is a soft, creamy shade of yellow that looks just like butter,” Primark bosses said.
“A pastel between pale yellow and beige, it hits the right balance between quiet luxury and dopamine dressing.
“This easy-to-wear shade pairs well with neutrals like ivory, tan and black - a versatile go-to for everyday looks.
“For wedding guests and spring special events, there’s no better way to turn heads than in butter yellow.
“Dressed up or down, the blazer takes your dressy-casual look next level.”
Primark has also introduced a black floral pattern, which comes on a £22 Floral V-Neck Midi Dress, as well as a short and shirt co-ord for £20.
“The all-over yellow flower print gives it a lovely, summery feel,” bosses said.
“Perfect for picnics, parties or just looking effortlessly gorgeous with minimal effort.”
Among the blouse offerings is a new £16 Scallop Collar Blouse which comes in three prints, including a blue, yellow and white striped design.
A blurb reads: “Say hello to your new favourite: the Scallop Collar Blouse.
“This long-sleeved top features a statement scallop-edged collar for a sweet detail.
“Perfect for dressing up or down, this blouse is a versatile addition to your collection.”
There's also tees for £8, linen shorts for £12 and sandals for as cheap as £6.
Primark’s social media team shared the garments now shelved and hung in its stores across the country in a new Instagram post.
The caption read: "Ideal for city strolling, brunch gatherings or picnic dates."
Shoppers were in awe of the collection, with one commenting: “I am obsessed with these outfits, they’re very summery.”
