Kate Moss’ daughter Lila just landed a major modelling contract… days after her 16th birthday

KATE Moss’ lookalike daughter is set to follow in her mum’s footsteps, after landing a major modelling contract just days after turning 16.
Lila Grace, who’s the 44-year-old supermodel’s daughter with magazine editor Jefferson Hack, has just been announced as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty.
The campaign will debut exclusively in Harvey Nichols from Thursday – and Lila follows in the footsteps of the likes of Kaia Gerber, Winona Ryder and Adwoa Aboah with the gig.
Marc broke the news on Instagram yesterday, revealing he first met Lila on a trip to the island of Formentura back in 2008.
He wrote: “At just 6 years old, Lila’s strong character, demeanor and great beauty was already very apparent.
“The next time I saw Lila was in August of 2011 at Kate’s wedding (to now ex-husband Jamie Hince), her character was even more dynamic and her beauty even greater.”
Lila shot her campaign back in July, with her mum Kate accompanying her to the job.
Marc added: “It was a bit surreal to have Kate in the studio with Lila as it brought back memories of the first time I met Kate when she was 18 years old and cast to walk for the Perry Ellis’ Spring/Summer 1993 Grunge Collection.
“Kate and I became very close after the Grunge Collection and remain lifelong friends (much of which is very well documented!)”
The designer gushed: “It is with great pride and a full heart that I share this (first) image from our shoot with the incredible @lilamoss in her first ever campaign for @marcbeauty.
“Lila’s beauty, composure, patience and kindness made this project even more special than I could have imagined.
“With each look we photographed, she got into each character effortlessly and gracefully.
“Thank you, Lila, for being a part of this extremely special project and thank you, @katemossagency and @jeffersonhack for allowing us the privilege to work with your beautiful daughter.”
Lila, who posted her first Instagram pic just last week, also announced the news – describing it as “an honour to be the face of the new @marcbeauty campaign.”
She previously told Vogue that Marc Jacobs’ Daisy is her favourite perfume, having worn it for years after Kate gave it to her as a present.
Kate was scouted at just 14 years old by Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Model Management.
Her younger half-sister Lottie Moss, 20, is also a successful model – who had her first campaign with Calvin Klein as a teen.
Speaking to Teen Vogue in 2014, Lottie said of modelling: “It kind of runs in the family. Kate was a massive part of why I started.”
