A RARE FIND

SAINSBURY'S is now selling steaks embellished with gold leaf - but there's a catch.

The edible bling costs just £3, but you have to buy your steak separately.

Sainsbury's are launching a new range of Taste the Difference cuts of meat for the occasion and shoppers can opt for the (£3.50), British Picanha Steak (£5.00), Bone in Sirloin Steak (£20 to be shared between two) or Bone in Ribeye Steak (£22 to be shared between two).

The gold leaf trend was launched in America's pricey Silicon Valley - and Sainsbury's hope to recreate the same premium look for a much more affordable price.

Product developer Rebecca Deeley said: “Applying our edible gold leaf over a perfectly seared and succulent steak can quickly transform a classic evening meal into something truly sensational!”

In related news, Marks & Spencer is selling a £35 meat box, and it’s actually an amazing deal.
