Here’s how you can view all of the Facebook photos you’ve ever liked
People are even using the feature to track their exes and partners online activity
EVER wanted to take a look back at all the photos you’ve liked on Facebook? Now there’s way you can.
Casting your eyes over throwback snaps is often toe-curlingly cringeworthy, but it’ll probably give you a good giggle.
Not only does the fascinating function unearth loads of forgotten pictures, it can also remind you of social contacts that you’ve lost touch with.
Locating your photo like history couldn’t be easier as all you have to do is type “Photos that I like” or “Photos liked by me” into the search bar.
Amazingly, if you want to kick your online detective work up a notch, you can even search to see what snaps your friends have been liking recently.
All you have to do is search Facebook with the phrase “Photos liked by (insert name)”.
Internet users have already been sent into a frenzy by the recent revelation, with many admitting that they’re using the function to stalk their exes or crushes.
A social media fan remarked: “The fact you can type in ‘photos liked by ____’ on Facebook and they all come up is dangerous information.”
One vigilant girlfriend tested the feature on her boyfriend, remarking: “Just searched the photos my boyfriend has liked on Facebook and they’re all of me, top marks to you.”
A cheeky lad even warned fellow men about the news, commenting: “Help a lad out, search ‘photos I’ve liked’ on Facebook and unlike all of the photos of girls before a crazy b**** f**** you up for 2012 you.”
It's not the first time that hidden Facebook functions have caused a stir online this year.
Last month, Facebook Messenger changed their inbox messages, which means there could be an 'Other' folder full of messages you don't know about.
Previously, they would remain in your messages until you opened them but now the app will notify you if you have unopened texts from non-Facebook friends.
However, before the new update, the app wouldn’t notify users about these new messages so there’s a chance you have a whole inbox full of messages you didn’t know about.
And unless you've recently had a message from a non-Facebook friend, it can be quite difficult to find the 'Other' folder.
