With her flowing locks, surfing lifestyle and swimwear range, it's no wonder Hanalei Reponty is being sought after

MEET the model dubbed the real-life mermaid who has the best job in the world - hitting the waves to soak up the sunshine.
Hanalei Reponty is a 25-year-old model who calls herself a "mermaid from the island of Tahiti".
She moved from Tahiti to the northern beaches of Australia's Queenscliff when she was just 18 with her French parents and brother, Rome, so she could go to university.
The former Sydney University student, who got into modelling as a teen, has already been snapped up by big names from Vogue in Paris and Australia, British Cosmopolitan and surfing giant RipCurl to cosmetic brands OPI and Lancaster.
Now she lives in San Clemente in California and works around the world represented by the world-famous IMG Worldwide Model agency, which has star names including Kate Moss and Gisele Bündchen on its books.
Her account, which boasts 130,000 followers, is littered with stunning blue images of the model posing in bikinis overlooking the ocean.

The social media star also owns her own swimwear label, , which promotes protecting the ocean, and runs her own hair salon, Franck Provost.
Her swimwear range is made of Japanese geoprene - a limestone-based material that requires less processing than the typical neoprene suit, which is environmentally friendly.
With both parents being surfers, Henalei says she was practically thrown onto the board when she was three, and has been in and around the water ever since.
Hanalei, who is never without a surfboard on the beach, is engaged to a pro surfer Pat Gudauskas.
The pair, who met eight years ago, are planning to marry in Tahiti.
Whether she's on her surfboard or living it up on the beach, Hanalei has the freedom to enjoy everything that summer has to offer while looking glam.
