They’re the ‘perfect’ married couple on Facebook – but this wife has just taken out a restraining order against her hubby
Salim Mehajer is due in court tomorrow, almost a year after their lavish wedding, but is still posting loving photos online

THE saying goes that when you’re in love, you want to shout it from the rooftops.
The modern day equivalent of this is posting endless photos of romantic dinners, exotic holidays and awkward PDAs all over social media.
This exactly what property developer and former Auburn City Council mayor Salim Mehajer has been doing with his wife Aysha.
The couple's extravagant lifestyle and enthusiastic social media presence has kept them in the headlines since their lavish wedding ceremony last year.
It gave Kim Kardashian and Kayne West's a run for its money - there were helicopters, streets were closed down and rumour has it a seaplane was also involved somehow.
According to social media the couple have the perfect relationship, with Salim constantly gushing about his "beautiful wife" who puts the "smile" on his face, the "sparky" in his eyes and the "love" in his heart.
He even gives Shakespeare a run for his money with the line, “may God protect your doll face”.
Trouble is, yesterday police in New South Wales, acting on behalf of Mrs Mehajer - going by her maiden name Aysha Learmonth - lodged an application for an apprehended violence order (AVO, otherwise known as a restraining order) against her husband.
Salim is due in a Sydney court on Wednesday, just weeks before the couple's one-year wedding anniversary. Awkward.

When things go pear-shaped, there’s the equivalent of a digital corpse there for people to pick over.
Now, people are attempting to join up the dots via Facebook posts from the lead-up to the AVO.

And having temporarily deactivated his Facebook page last week, Salim later reappeared with a picture of his now-blonde wife, asking people to comment on her new hair colour.
Some people are suggesting these are older pictures that Salim is posting from happier times in an attempt to give the impression that all's well when it comes to their marriage.
Salim himself has denied the claim his wife has taken out the AVO, accusing police of having a vendetta against him and stressing “only death” would end his relationship with wife Aysha.
Speaking to he said: "Aysha has NOT taken out an AVO against me. The police are pursuing for an AVO.
"The police seem to have nothing better to do then follow our footsteps [sic]."
And despite the pair not being seen in public for months, Salim is seemingly certain his marriage will stand the test of time.
He went on: “As mentioned before, only death will do us apart [sic],” while also stressing the photograph he posted to Facebook at the weekend of them together was a recent image.
Police have applied for the order but rarely do so unless requested by the person seeking protection.
Salim has previously when earlier this year cops were called to Aysha’s sister’s home following an incident where he had been allegedly “yelling and screaming at the door”.
And in March, Salim threw a grand party for Aysha’s 30th birthday, rumoured to cost up to £28,826 ($50,000) but actually showed up.
