Mum who battled with crippling migraines for 25 YEARS finally gets her life back – by removing TWO ingredients from her diet
The business owner has even been able to ditch the medication

AFTER suffering from migraines for 25 YEARS, a woman has found a way to eliminate the agonizing symptoms from her life.
Mum-of-two Andrea Henson, 46, has finally managed to prevent any painful attacks by cutting out ‘trigger foods’ from her diet.
Lincolnshire business owner Andrea began battling the migraines in her early twenties.
During a severe attack, Andrea was rushed to hospital with a suspected blood clot.
She remembered: “That was definitely my worst episode.
“I had to have all kinds of tests including a lumbar puncture and CT scan. It was very frightening and just goes to show how bad migraines can be.”
The attacks, which could last for days, often left Andrea feeling exhausted and would affect her senses.
She explained: “My episodes were always unpredictable, they could come on quickly and affect my vision or be a slow starter, lasting anywhere between one to three days.
“I was left feeling exhausted and achy but there was nothing anyone could do.”

Medical professionals prescribed Andrea some migraine relief tablets, but sadly the medication couldn’t be taken on a regular basis.
The caring mum said: “This was difficult to manage because the migraines were so regular.
“Although I needed the relief, I had to try and reserve the medication for when I really needed it, or risk not being able to have any at all and really suffering later.”
As well as being too potent to take in the long-term, the medication had some negative side-effects, leaving Andrea feeling drowsy and queasy.
It wasn’t until Andrea stumbled across the YorkTest programme that her symptoms began clearing.
Following the diet and recommendations from a friend, Andrea decided to make some changes to her diet.
After taking up the programme, Andrea discovered that she was intolerant to milk and corn, which were contributing towards her migraine episodes.
Andrea explained: “Before changing our eating habits, if Andrew and I ate out we would both suffer from uncomfortable and painful bloating afterwards which ruined our night, but now we are able to enjoy our meals without discomfort.”
Now, Andrea doesn’t even have to use the medication she was prescribed by the doctors.
She revealed: “Since starting my new eating regime, I’ve gone from having migraines on a weekly basis to having just three in total - they pretty much disappeared after six weeks. I was amazed.
“It was a huge relief to take the medication out of my handbag and be confident that I don’t need it anymore…
“The whole process has been life-changing for us all and overcoming my 25-year migraine hell is the icing on the cake.”
