'I'll knock you out'

Jeremy Kyle threatened by guest but his anger hides a tragic tale

Ryan came out fighting but was soon in tears as his guilt over brother's death was revealed

JEREMY Kyle faced one his angriest guests ever, who threatened to “Knock you straight out” within seconds of coming on stage.

But the anger of drug-addicted lad Ryan was masking a heart-breaking story that moved the audience to tears.

Today’s show started with a typical Kyle story – a boy who smoked too much weed and got aggressive if he couldn’t get his hands on his latest fix.

His wife revealed they couldn’t afford a home of their own because of his £50 a day habit and that he often punched walls and broke glass in anger.

The minute Ryan came on he kicked off, telling Jezza: “You’re talking to me like I’m something on the bottom of your shoe.

“You’re talking to me like I’m an idiot.”

Jeremy replied: “I haven’t started.”

Ryan spat back: “Start then – I’ll just knock you straight out.”

But the host soon revealed the tragic tale behind the boy’s addiction – he blamed himself for the death of his 10-year-old brother six years before.

Sean had died after being hit by a hit and run driver while walking home from the cinema with sister Stephanie.

Tearful Ryan revealed: “My brother died six year ago.

“I was supposed to meet him after the cinema and because I was stoned I didn’t go. “He wouldn’t have walked that way if I’d been with him.”

He added:  “He’d have been here if I hadn’t smoked weed that day.”

He explained his mum had asked him to meet his brother and sister but he had fallen asleep and was woken up by a lad knocking on the door to say Sean had been run over.

The 10-year-old died on the way to the hospital.

Jeremy told Ryan: “It’s not your fault.”

His family bleeded with him to kick his drug habit, before they lost him as well.

His weeping mum said: “The night Sean died I made you a promise I wouldn’t take my own life, so how is it fair that you are killing yourself.

“I have had one son taken from me and you are taking yourself away from me.”

Stephanie, who was with her brother on the night, said: “I watched Sean die.

I’m not going to watch you die as well. Don’t you think we’ve lost enough?”

She added: “I didn’t just lose a brother I lost a best friend.

“I can’t stand back and lose another brother.”

The tragic story had Jeremy admitting: “This really got to me.”
